markyaz there actually LVC glad to see another denim head on here!! seen the new denim in uniqlo? good stuff!
LVC's?, nice. They look like original Japanese Evis. I've seen the selvedge Uniqlo's, my mate has them, not bad. But I'm a denim snob and wouldn't be seen dead in anything other than Levi's, Denime or Japanese Evis!

You ke-razy kids, it's all about Warehouse, Studio D'Artisan and natural indigo...
Levi's Vintage Clothing (LVC) used to be great, quality's slipped terribly recently tho'...
Can't wait to find out what other insanely obscure, uber-nerdy stuff you guys are into... ;-)
EDIT: I'm an uber-nerd...

It all about the Levis RED or Edwin. Evis/Evisu are far to obvious. In my uni days I worked at Cinch in Newburgh street so my denim collection is pretty freakin awesome!

Yeah, modern Levi's aren't what they used to be. They used to last a long long time; not any more.
Same thing with Sony...
...(and, pretty much everything else)...

The shitty Italian ones are but the original Japanese pieces from 10/12/15 yrs ago are the tits! Istill have a few, some absolutely battered and falling to pieces but still look ream, others are still dark indigo. It's all about getting them without the paint on the pockets or at the very least with the original handpaint rather than the shitty rubberised screenprint

APC, good call havent looked at there stuff in ages i got a pair about 6 years ago very well priced too, i wore them out and turned em into shorts tho, any ideas on pricing now? i think mine were £50-60 back then from browns ....

Picked up 2 pair in SoHo about 2 years ago cuz they were $99... Made in Macau (probs, maybe Thai) but very nice 'n' stiff, feel nice... Better than LVC (and their shit quality/stupid vintage 'mistakes') and way less than half the price...
NEVER wash... Smell goes away after a few months... Just hang 'em up...
Ha! ;)
PS Edwin stilll the best dry denim deal tho', indestructible... Good everyday overall...
My two cents... -
