  • The standard Plug was still 399 in 2 Evans shops I was in yesterday. The one just off Oxford St and Spitalfields.

  • According to my sisters boyfriend who works in Evans the plug has gone up to 449.99 untill they get the 09 stock, god knows why, surely it should go down so they can get rid of it?

  • But Plugs are EVERYWHERE.. which means people will obviously pay the extra for them.
If the new ones are shit, even more reason to keep the price high.

  • he he you said butt plugs...

  • It wouldn't be the first time.. on this forum especially :)

  • Do you know of any shops still selling them for 399.99? Like actual shops not online place?

  • Anyone have an opinion on what the Brick Lane Bikes custom build are like - using their own BLB frame?

I'm a fan. good geometry, dunno about the quality of steel. No lugwork (eccept, oddly, on the fork-ends). like an iro as far as most can tell.

I think crabtree is selling one (a frame) at the moment.

  • I'm looking to build up a bike and am wondering where on the internet is the best place to go for otp second-hand frames, other than gumtree, ebay and here.

  • what's wrong with gumtree, ebaY and here?

  • hi all..i.m a roadie/mtb nut and just took delivery yesterday of a bowery rode it on my 20 mile round trip commute to work today and i am well pissed off i've thought gears were essential..i know more kudos in building your own but the otp bowery for the dosh is a cracker..i still love gears but i'm gonna have fun on bowery and i'm riding it fixed.. for years i've thought ss and fixie riders were nutters..well i am a nutter too then.. :-)

the more gear you have on your bike, the more the singlespeed/fixed wheel riders seemed like a nutters.

that it really, it wasn´t long ago that the norms were 3 speed strumpy and it´s not much different to singlespeed.

  • I have been looking to get a bike in this region nobody has meantioned the Swobo Sanchez from brick lane bikes does anybody know anything about these bikes as i think that is my favourite whilst looking online

  • dont worry i have found all the threads sorry

  • Anyone know anything about the alta?

  • ^^^^That ginger cunt in his pants just ruined my day.

  • Anyone know anything about the alta?

the general consolation is that the bike isn't that good for the money, especially since it's not fixed, it's single speed only (thought can be ridden fixed wheel if you got the hubs).

  • wtf is a fixer?

  • Someone who rides fixed, my man!

  • What happened to jhclare? From the looks of it, he bought one SS, and didn't like it; complained about it then sold it.
He bought another SS and didn't like that either, sold it also.

So, jhclare, have you finally got a fixed or singlespeed bike you like, or given it all up?
