Can we have some Trixie Chix Chaos Action then? I don't think I've ever met you all en masse...
-
• #903
...you don't want to, trust me.

ha! this is like when the fashion show ask us to "perform".
So I vote for THURSDAY BEING TRIXIE RAIN CHECK NIGHT.
I will go tonight, but am super busy with the tournament so if I'm going to be my hardcore-american-rain-bounces-off-of-me-like-bullets-self all by myself, then I'll give it a miss. If there are other ridiculously cool chicks who think rain is just water falling from heaven, then I'm in

roxy, I no longer believe that you're actually from americaland. You're just too...well, american to actually BE american.
"rain is just water falling from heaven"?! yee-ha, girlfriend!
I love being cynical and grumpy. -
• #906
I was going to pop by about 7, but as I can't really hold handlebars at the moment I won't be much use in the tricks/polo dept, more cheering and decoration because I miss bikes so much :)
-
• #907
I subscribe to the "rain is just water" school of thought, but only because there isn't much damage that rain can do to my 'do anyway.
I've never attended a Trixie night so I really want to come. Do you guys meet inside the pub or something?

just reading this thread after deciding that I have to sell my bike if I wanna go to college, no grant need monies. but then reading this and now I am back in London, I kinda want to just ride down to the car park and get tricky, though I have not learnt any tricks yet, my gearing is too high I think, 49-16. But I can balance still!!! you all just wanna make me quit art school and keep riding, maybe a credit card would suffice, I just so wanna meet you all.

I think if it's 80's, cheesy and sing-along, she plays it (love ya Clefty!).
You'd be better advised simply asking for some Trixie chix action - now, chaos we can do well. leave the dj-ing to the djs!hang on! have i been volunteered!?
I can't spin records for shit, but I have plenty of ipod classics, I was actually just working on a classic playlist that included some salt n pepa and such other classics
I promise I wont play anything too offensive ;-) -

Haha, no I volunteered you... Nothing wrong with a bit of 80s cheese. Especially to see the look of disgust on RPM's face.

bicycle = cheap transport during uni. Crap thing to give up for school, it will make life more expensive to not have a bike.

Joining up with the Trixie Dix tonight if it clears up. Great venue (Chix had it first of course). See their thread for details.

are you still meeting up. i am in central as from 16 september. let me know where and when if possible. by the way what is good gear ratio for tricks. 46-16? Is this ok. I cant manage any tricks at mo, need some help i think. Oh yes, good point, I keep the bike, no payment to move around,. makes me feel much better, I reckon London would be kinda dull without tghe freedom of a bike.

This Tuesday we are having a Trixie ride for all those ladies who fancy coming, meet on Southbank at the stone circle outside the NFT and next to Waterloo Bridge, we ride south and east along the river hopefully ending up at the Greenwich foot tunnel. No set route we're feeling adventurous!
Any newbies or non-regulars who don't have our numbers (and want to come) PM me so we dont leave you behind!
-
• #921
WHOOP, am so in
-
• #922
I will come if I find someone to look after my kiddo.
I PMd my number to you Clefty -

Awwwww rats!! I have orchestra rehearsal tomorrow :-(
-
• #924
What sort of time? (I really really shouldn't leave my dissertation, but am tempted...)
There's a nice (slightly longer) circuit involving the Woolwich ferry and Canary Wharf if anyone's interested, but the ferry stops at 8, so this might be best saved for another day...

7pm by the big stone circle thing outside the NFT. On the Southbank. Near the river. And the skateboarders.
