asm heh nice subtle advertisement of the powergrips there!
yes look at them shine! ony 14 dorrar with fwee arrospok
@flickwg I'll speak to hops next week at Trixie chix if I cant get any tubing sorted over the weekend, otherwise I will get tubing for all if I can. I think it could work really well, I also am bidding on a job lot of ski poles on the 'bay at the moment which if I win them will go towards general all round mallet building.

roxy hey clefty, we have crutches too. Nice 'cause they're light, I wonder if they are strong enough? Good thinking, let's give it a go
I think potentially they are stronger than ski poles, they certainly are built for bearing more weight, i like the fact that they are adjustable as well, and I think the slight bend in the pole could actually be an advantage..lets see what we can produce. I will get into workshop mode ala weekend.

Anyone up for Critical Mass tomorrow night?
Can't decide how I feel.
Def won't go if it's shi*ty out, but could be fun outing for a bit for the Chix (could bring the boys too)
Dunno, you? -

we look so slow and gentle... maybe we should think of speeding up the film frames next time to look more intimidating to any future opponents watching
or maybe just practice more -
• #245
I was thinking exactly the same thing when I edited it and was tempted to speed it up, but would have had to take the sound off. Think we just need to improve!
-
• #246
how was bill bailey clefty?
-
• #247
awesome, laughed until my face hurt! Particularly the section where he talked about how ASDA had offered him a stupid load of money to be on their ads, and the proceeding song..'hey, Asda! I ain't gonna be your bitch'
definitely worth a DVD purchase when it comes out. -
• #248
haha.classic.
Please tell me he didnt use the aled jones gag again? or the meatloaf stars in their eyes one? I swear he's used those 2 in every single live set he's ever done...
-
• #249
he did use the aled jones one, but it was very subtle and not expected, he didnt do much old stuff apart from the Love song one as an encore. There was a new bush drum and bass remix. He also had a hindi group on who he did a brilliant version of duelling banjos with. The sitar player was quite astonishing.

yeah.. it doesnt bother me much, he's one of the few people who can sort of get away with recycling things. Can't wait for the live DVD!!
hey clefty - idea has already been tried but not finished, haven't been down to polo in an age :'(
still need to get some tubing off of hops&/dave
also chandra may have heard me talking about it but not too sure
