Alright Come On The Chix!!!!!!
The weather is perfect to separate the men from the boys!
so really, rain or, erm, rain let's meet at the Royal Oak (or coffee shop?!!?) and go together to the court. Sound like a plan?
I've been recruiting new girls. I'm pretty sure this new girl is coming that rides a Pashley (her boyfriend bought it for her). It'll be fun to learn tricks on! Told her she could try our bikes and play polo on the pashley.

Heya ladies
there has been talk of a covered car park not far from London wall where we would not get hassled. I vote staying dry. I have the lurgies and don't want to get even sicker. Hops says she knows where it is, meet normal place and we could go over to check it out? or a few of us for next time (depends on light and space)
Also some people have suggested thursdays would be better, I know it would be better for me as I have college wed and am missing homework night to hit a hockey ball about....not sure my lecturer will understand. Anyway it obviously has to be a group decision but anyone else prefer thurs? we can discuss it tonight and see what people think. -
• #163
that sounds promising, I wonder if it is the underground NCP at finsbury square?
found the pub (thanks Stef)
I can do thursdays just not the next 3 or so because of various commitments, gig, Bill Bailey, Work Freebie Bavaria trip, World Darts
what a busy girl I am!I can get to the pub by 6 dirty i reckon.

I'm not sure which one, but I know someone who does, there are tonnes of carparks around that way however. We could go on a girls mission to find something suitable.

Hi all,
I am a newcomer to this site. Really up for coming along and having a go. I have a Old style ladies Giant, not a have a fixed gear, but a nice bike. Live in West London so Columbia road is a bit of a bugggar to get too. Do you do them more central ever?? -
• #169
we're very new and have no plans to move west at the moment. We have one woman coming all the way from Clapham and there was talk of another coming from tooting, so give it a go!
seriously though I know it can be a bit of a pain commuting to us but we have a lit smooth surface and polo court with a pub, coffee shop, and off-license right next door. Lurvly!!

Yeh although I work in town I will be riding back to Tooting with Emily (Clapham) if she appears tonight.
on another note I have been perusing the NCP car park finder online - yes I am having a quiet day..
just a quick and dirty screen dump showing the immediate area, if you want to have a further sniff round the site is:

Are all NCP parks manned? I would think we'd need a place that is unmanned. There's one on commercial street near spitalfields that I thought may have hope.

Caznicklin Hi all,

Live in West London so Columbia road is a bit of a bugggar to get too. Do you do them more central ever??Oh and as far as bikes are concerned, well we're not concerned. It's a friendly chick thing. Just a get together. You can play polo on your bike and if you're interested in riding fixed (I assume you are as you're on this forum) you can try the bikes that fit you. As for tricks, if you can do tricks on your bike than come show us!

Am also developing a web business for ladies who want to cycle and look good doing it with tips and gear etc and am reseraching girls doing cool things on bikes, so would love to get involved.
