make the spinning go away...... ohhhh, ergh, ugh
ok, but for real, I haven't had that much fun in ages! got home and decided to wake Mike up and tell him all about it, seemed like the right thing to do at the time...
really man so much fun!!! Was too funny to get that text from Hops saying bet you anything your on your 2nd bottle of rum and laughing considering we were through the 2nd one by that point, ha!
So can we give awards out?
My awards go to Chandra for being so frickin fearless! proper skids with normal shoes on a clipless bike. Rad!
2nd award goes to Muna for riding directly into the side of the goal. I nearly wet myself watching.
3rd award is the Perv award, it is shared by the gang of 10 year old yobs, the grown men hiding in the bushes to photograph us, the obnoxious f*ckers on the motorcycle and finally, Caspar, for so conveniently getting a puncture right next to where we were playing. Boys just can't leave the girls alone can they?!!?Also wanted to say that I started a trixie chix group on http://www.meandmybicycle.ning.com (the myspace of the bike world?)
oh and I have a proper evil looking bruise on my thigh from deciding that I could jamican skid Vic's mini-bike and getting my legs tangled in the drops. That bike!!!!
Go Trixie Chix!!!!

+1 recommendation for the roxy award - best idea/organisation of the year.
What were these 'obnoxious f*ckers on the motorcycle' and 'mr.neighbourhood busybody?' Did I miss a fight? Can we still do it again next week?

Caspar was genuinely on the way home from a meeting we were both at....he lives not too far from the courts....he couldn't believe his luck, free rum from his mate Muna and he got to mend a coupla broken bikes too!

Yeah where's the pics Roxy?? Thanks for sorting it out everyone. The rum definately helped and will have to put on a few pairs of socks next time. Even though the cold wasn't that bad, just gotta keep yourself moving!
Vic the neighbourhood busy body was being just that so no worries about us using the court. I will break in everyday if someone ends up telling us we can't use it!
Not sure about motorbike guy, but there were people shuffling in the bushes watching us! Superfreaks!!

vic That pub (if its the one I think you're talking about) is the Royal Oak and it is on Royal Oak Road, just off Columbia. How quaint. I don't know any you ladies so I guess I will just look out for the bin bags ;)
I just read this thread, and am happy you gals had a great time. As I don't live in London, or even England, I had look at the google map just to see where you spent the evening.
I must say I'm impressed that you even managed to meet eachother......

Hey chicks,
so i finally got an account.thanks for a wicked eve last week was so funny.I can’t make tomorrow night but will definitely come if the weather stays as it is for tomorrow and you change it to Thursday. Hope you all had a lovely weekend. Sol and Roxy loving the pics i like the way you got one of me hugging my bike and then on the floor all most minutes later : )
Casper thanks again for attempting to fix my brake it is still really off though. Got to sort that one out. Can’t believe you tried to blame my pink brake cable ; ) -
• #124
It got you home alright though?
I think there is a little more going on there than meets the eyes. My beer goggles were in place though, never the best time to be wrenching I find. As beautiful as your outer cable is, I think it may have some small part to play in the stickyness!
