I’m after a solution to mount a bike vertically on a side wall. Short of just using a couple of pegs, does anyone have any suggestions or do this already?

Tell me more about the epoxy floor...
Did you get it done?

Newly built house. Can ask the builders if you want to know something? It's very slippy and sounds odd if you turn tyres on it.

Sometimes we coat floors with epoxy here at work, if you want to know the exact method and product I can ask around?
-

If you could, that would be great.
We're moving into a new place in March with a 7.2mx6.1m garage. Going to epoxy the floors and paint the walls..

Yes please!

Where'd ay get that bad boy from?
Looking for a shed to house around 4 bikes...

I got it custom from a local shed builder(I live in Ireland). Really happy with it so far. Most shed companies should be able to build something similar. I can get more pics if it helps?

Anything in particular?

Product they used and prep work required would be great.

Any suggestions for nice looking, wooden mounts? I've seen the Huxlo one suggested but would like something less ply and also designed for narrower bars (bike has 400mm bars so would like it quite tucked into the wall, lots seem to be designed for wider bars).

Huxlo was as narrow as I could find at only 28cm from the wall.
I also just came in here to post that MADE.com are now in on the action... Not bad for £48 delivered

what a lovely bike they've used in the photos......

Seems Huxlo actually do custom lengths if you look on their website, it's been vetoed on the basis of material though.
That Made one has been around for a while but is quite deep.
I like this one but it appears to be impossible to buy. I wonder how much it would cost to get one made up?

Could always get some ideas/contact some of the makers on Etsy;

I could make something close to that for you if you like. Drop me a PM if you're interested and I can share with you some of my previous work etc etc.

Didn't someone on here make something like that a few years ago? From memory, it looked exactly as in this picture. (Sorry if I've missed something.)

Etsy did come up when I looked for bike racks but I found the website a bit impenetrable. It seemed to lump in items from all over the world so loads of stuff was coming from the US with super-high shipping, etc

I think I know who you mean and iirc he sold it on here when he was moving out of the country. Can’t remember his name off hand but I don’t think I’ve seen him around for a while.

Moving in to a new place which has a big carport out the back. My other half and I don't want to have bikes piled up in the kitchen, so until we can build the shed we've got planned, can anyone recommend a decent lockup to go in the carport? Ideally I'd want something where the bikes are stored vertically as it's easier for my OH to get them out. Ideally something like a big lockable cabinet. All the vertical ones seem to be £600 for a single bike which is too much for us.

I ordered the Thule 578100 stand in the end
https://www.thule.com/en-gb/gb/bike-rack/roof-bike-rack-accessories/thule-bike-stacker-_-578100Looks sturdy and looks like it will cause least marks on my wooden floor.
I realised I was being dim with my hung bikes all the same way up. By alternating I can make room for another bike. Just need another hook now, and the 4th can come off the other wall and hang with the rest. Making room for........
