I think shimano would fit.

aren't they ISO?? not JIS?

NO NO NOT SHIMANO
75s have an ISO taper according to Sugino. Shimano are JIS.
Try a cheap Campy ACH BB (111mm) or similar. Phil wood make a very nice 110mm ISO BB as well. Or a Miche or similar. See here for suggestions:

http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=290531&highlight=sugino+ISO+JIS etcCurrently I'm using a cheap Campy symmetric 111mm sealed BB. Works a treat.

Miche works with mine.
Think Hovis uses Miche too.
The Miche and the cheap Campag are made by Kinex, IIRC, so it might be worth tracking down Slovakia's favourite.

I'm using the 75 loose-bearing one, and it's fine, apart from being loose bearings. The Miche one also fits (and I ought to swap them out at some point.)
Definitely not JIS taper though. They don't go far down the spindle enough.

aren't the Miche 107mm???
only asking because running a goldtec on the back which has a 45mm chainline -
• #9
They are but the cups adjust. Maybe not that far, though.
The Campags are 111, which is nearer.
The 75 uses a 109 spindle, so i guess you need a 115 with the Goldtech.
Kinex make a 115mm.

how will a 115 line up with an EAI cog, being the fact that they are a bit thicker than normal???
'spose a 111mm would fit best? so campy seems the best option. -
• #11
I'm willing to be proved wrong, but I don't reckon 111mm will work.
I've set up the 75 on the Campag and it lined up nicely on a Formula hub with a CONdor CNC sprocket.
The Goldtech puts the sprocket about 3mm further out from the centreline than that, so you need that extra spindle length on the cranks to bring the chainline back.

i know jackshite 'bout chainline, BUT miche bb with sugino even though not compatible works fine, and my chainline seems perfect to me...i too run goldtec..i just need some 75's now.

why not get a sugino 75 bb from on-one or brixton for £29

Going to resurrect this topic.
I have the crankset at the bottom of this page, the RD2.
http://www.suginoltd.co.jp/singlespeeder_e.htmlThey say this gives a chainline of 45mm. I've got Goldtec hubs with an EAI cog, which should give a chainline slightly more than 45mm. However my chainline is out by more than slightly (at least a couple of mm). Who's wrong?
The spindle is 103mm. Am I right in thinking that a new bb with a spindle about 107 (ie the miche mentioned above) should fix the problem?Cheers for that
