    I miss mine.

  • There are plenty of black and gold bikes out there...

  • the only gold groupo worth having is the campag 50th anniversary groupo and we all know it.

The one rik posted has parts made of actual gold though

  • I Like the aero bottle

  • is it just me or does anyone else see the word CUNT on the top tube of the Schwinn?

  • And don't forget the Pope's custom Colnago - gold of course.

  • BULLSEYE !

the more I look at him the more he remind me of Rimmer from Red Dwarf.

  • I'm interested to hear what people think of this bike. I have taken it a some inspiration for my 90's Basso Coral project. I just love the clean lines (although I'm going to ruin them with a front brake) but interested to hear the criticism of more trained eyes....

  • red bicycle - good start.
Needs bar-plugs and grip-tape and is a little big for the rider IMO, although if they use the drops a fair bit it could make sense..
    Basically it is a bicycle.

  • ^^ dont like the saddle, the rest look pretty decent.

I do agree with the saddle comment. It doesn't suit the rest of the bike.

  • Looks nice and agreed, that saddle looks wank and about 3stone! Change the angle of the bars too

  • I think the saddle looks good on it. The bar stem combo/angle not so much.

  • There is a good chance that it'll need a shorter stem (I'm guessing the stretch is a bit too much for the rider at the moment).

  • Has that^ red bike got bottle bosses?

Doh started writing this ages ago.

Just a bicycle? Oh no it's much more complex than that. You would think it would just be a bicycle and if you were happy then that is ok but coming on this forum you see how far that is from the truth!

What if I'm labelled a hipster or fashion victim? Or a heathen destroyer of vintage gems? Or some acronym I have no understanding of? No there's too much at stake here to call it just a bicycle!

  • ouch!
