^ the gunmakers on is a five minute walk from the jt. Good food, nice ales and railings over the road for bike locking. Kitchen closes at 3 and opens again at 6.

Went to gunmakers, nice little place if a bit clean. Had the joy of seing three men dressed identically without meaning to (chinos, oxford shirt, brown belt, brown shoes) and probably not noticing
tuna was ok, should've had the bean casserole

Can anyone recommend a pub with decent grub and ale in 'central'? (Whatever that means.) Preferably not eye-wateringly expensive...
For a saturday night so preferably somewhere that won't be too rammed to sit down.
The pub will also have to compensate for poor company by the looks of it.
I think I may be asking too much...

It was, bear in mine it's Wimbledon this month, so naturally all the people who go to Ascot go there.
It's almost more like an upmarket Wetherspoon pub nowadays.

The two thing good about Wimbledon is that it have the best sushi restaurant in London (bar none) and surprisingly well priced, as well as the best pizza restaurant too, the latter is subjective as people have a perferred view of how pizza are, but that pizza restaurant is defintely better than your usual one.

Heh, it's called Noodle Foodle, and it look like a shit restaurant on the outside.
But the sushi is to die for.

Depending on how you're rolling, if at all, I'd say you were better off going to the Telegraph at the end of Wimbledon common/putney borders as it's just a short ride up the road.
Still full of tossers with jumpers over shoulders and chino/blue shirt combo* but what do you expect in that part of town.
*casual clothes become a uniform for men that spend their lives wearing suits.

Looking for a pub in Esher. I'll be riding there on a Sunday afternoon with a gang of mates. Maybe a garden as the weather should be good?
Thanks and ting!
