lynx, is it really that hard to check googlemaps for local pubs then click on them to read a couple of reviews? doesn't really deserve an entire thread does it? why you'd get so aggy about someone pointing that out is beyond me.

I did the google and didn't get any that really jumped out at me but dogsballs recommendation looks like a good one. Other people ask for recommendations for pubs, one that comes to mind was Fox the other day, and people just give recommendations and no other comments

I'd trust pub recommendations from people on here much more than google. Don't see the problem with a thread about it, but if you can't ask here, check fancyapint.com, they usually have good recommendations.

Check google and you don't know what knobend you get voicing opinion. There's people out there that really digs an All Bar One, they also tend to give bad reviews to some really nice old man pubs just because they don't have peroni on tap
