would have had to put the tri pod on the ground, pull out the large coat, get the camera bag out of my messenger bag, probably change lenses and at that point its all a bit too much effort.

The traffic has been horrendous over the last couple of days.

tell me about it... I can't understand what's making the difference. Bumper to bumper, loads of trucks. Seem to be a lot of European trucks too..I was cracking up at some fat bikers today, a bunch of them on hogs trying to squeeze through stuff and grinding to a halt...adding to the jam but giving a bit of value too..
