Someone DAS’d me on Thames Path earlier, only clocked the Blackburn Outpost (@platypus?)

Yesterday I was cycling up and down Northwall Road, the closed road by the velodrome, when I saw a young chap who had cycled there with a skateboard doing whatever young people do on skateboards.As I passed him for the fourth or fifth time he called out to me. I stopped and turned off the audio book I was listening to. He said he was also on the Forum (I was wearing a forum jersey) and recognised me from the drag sprints which must have been 10 years ago.

That "young chap" was me. Good to see you out and about enjoying the lovely weather, in a socially responsible, isolationist way.

No, no, drag sprints definitely took place after the invention of the fixed-gear bike.
