  • julio: smiled and waved at each other passing old street Holiday Inn this evening - sorry, didn't realise it was you till i heard your dulcet 'hi' (thought my luck had changed! ; ) hi back, and nice meeting you yesterday!

50/14: in BLB with his stunning, super light, freshly built all black Fort, on route to East drinks - was nice to see you mister!

last_caress: also in BLB this evening, where we drooled over expensive rims.. hopefully see you on the friday lunch roll dude

    My first spot.

Yeah - check you on friday dude. Going to smash up my old rims real good before the new ones come.

Thanks to the courier today around bank who told me twice, with increased urgency that the po' po' were waiting the other side of the lights, information which I only registered after going through them, despite my advanced warning. Had to take a few side roads after they clocked me, but seriously, there's nothing slower than a cycle cop.

Also, Conan on the vice website's weekend parties picture section.

  • Dark haired girl on a black / red bike - going south on South Lambeth Road this morning, seen on one of the night rides. I tried to make some sort of gesture, but realised I was dribbling and wearing some nightmarish clothes as I raced to work, so sorry if I just looked like a nutter.

  • and i will do again tomorrow.......... on my nasty lookin FTP until i get it blacked out !!

    For The Peg!

  • AND spotted "The most dapper of men" yesterday as he rode past the lamb.

good to see you, horatio and the billy of the hills. sorry i didn't make it back to easties but had a good session at the south polo, pretty much constant play, and then a good catch up with the mainest of mans, skoota.

oh, and managed to crash as i cut across the grass in london fields on the way home late last night. no damage just one lost blue polka dot smeear hat. collectors edition.

  • Outside Goldsmiths College, New Cross at 8.30 this morning. Stringbean fella on a satin pink low-pro with a black arrospok on the back.

guilty as charged but I wouldn't say it was satin pink - Pajamas quoted it as "Blackberry Smoothie" which is close enough ;-)

  • That's no good Jonny. Guess I should have added "drunken ride safe" to the "polo safe" I wished you on your departure

  • For The Peg!

care to talk me through that one !?!?

  • adoubletap on The Cut on his stealth BJ at about 0815 this morning. I was a walkenger so my wave went unnoticed.

Did you shout "hey!" or something? It did register but couldn't tell from what direction. :(

  • Me losing control on the Alywch area when my fucking lockring failed on the hubs.

argh, an excuse to buy a new wheel and hubs either way.

  • Did you shout "hey!" or something? It did register but couldn't tell from what direction. :(

I think I shouted "Steve" but I was ipodded up so the volume of my shout may have been a whisper!

do you live in the Bloomsbury area? cause I kept spotting you all over Bloomsbury, at Russell Square, Marchmont Street, Guildford Road, etc.

  • Yesterday on Regents street I saw the most incredible & unusual track frame zooming past heading north. I shall describe...

It was an alloy frame I think with similar geometry to the Bianchi pista concept (there was some width to the tubes) Here's the wierd bit, it had huge elaborate lugs (on an alloy frame wtf?) The neverex style lugs were painted gloss black & the tubes were bare metal finish with what looked like a black polka dot pattern over the top. I was mesmorised & didn't notice anything else about the frame.

Anyone know what or who this was? I'd love to see a picture of it.

work round there ed - say hi some time dude

  • Last night on High Holborn I spotted a cute courier girl - Didn't see the bike but she has a tattoo on the back of her right leg.

  • work round there ed - say hi some time dude

I will, must admitted that it's often that area where I don't ride my bike, especially since my bird live there.

  • a guy with short blonde hair wearing sun glasses a fixed bike with bullhorn bars and a very nice rear zipp wheel in dalston, i love that wheel

  • this morning I saw more noddys and muppets than I ever want to see again.
the standard of riding at rush hour is nothing short of abysmal, no wonder cyclists are hated.

I had words with many of them, but the cock-of-the-day award goes to mr hipster fixie, who ploughed through a throng of peds crossing at the lights outside stockwell tube. You had none of the skill or observation of the riders in a Lucas Brunel video, it wasn't a race and you didn't have an important package to deliver (not even yourself by the looks of it) it was me who shouted "stop you fucking wanker" and if I see you riding like that again I'll punch your fucking lights out and you'll know what it's like to be hit with something heavy.

Learn to ride before you get the bike, the bag and the attitude, you selfish, ignorant cretin.

  • Yeah, sorry about that Rob, I was late for my latte.

Incidentally, there's been an amazing number of attractive ladies bums on Stockwell Road this week.

  • heh! it wasn't you!

but whoever it was knows who he is.

and next time, I promise you'll get jawed, sonny boy.

  • Learn to ride before you get the bike, the bag and the attitude, you selfish, ignorant cretin.
How do you learn to ride before owning a bike?

I jest though. this comment has made my day.

  • well, you know "the bike" rather than "a bike"

the deep v'd riser barred thing he was sporting.

maybe sport is the wrong word, he's no athlete..

    maybe a hand athlete..

  • RPM, what did this guy's bike look like?

  • a prick

  • a prick

    repped - good work rpm

  • I took it out on the other muppets that sidled in front of me, when I had to then push past them as they dawdled on the gogogo!
