I was buzzed by a group of roughly 30ish cyclists in a tight bunch somewhere in the Surrey Downs this morning. They were heading North. They appeared to all be wearing white jerseys, have race numbers on their bikes and they had a motorbike on the front and support car behind. Weird. They were organised and nippy but not exactly cheesing it. Got a cheery wave from a few too. Any ideas?

Guilty.
But that was so confusing... I couldn't believe there was another identical Peloton there on Sunday, but my bike was locked to another one so couldn't have been the one in this picture.
Until I clocked that you nabbed the pic from this thread: http://www.lfgss.com/thread112028.html
I thought you would be on here. I don't spot many slave rides let alone riders.
Saw a blue samson with white saddle locked up outside the eagle on farringdon road Monday. That shade of blue is pinging! Must be on 'ere

A guy near Southwark last night pulled up behind me at the lights and, after staring at my bike for a bit, says "nice tyres".
In my confusion (they are Conti 4000s) I mumbled a thanks and rode off. It was only a few miles later I wondered if he was calling me fat! Cheeky bugger.
Anyway, to the guy with a wicker basket strung to his back riding towards London Bridge - hi.
