  • Spatted sptr on his way back through farringdon this morning. No hello no skid ):

I was pushing out to many watts to skid

  • Why were they munching cloth?

Only just seen your message. email me!

  • I was the be-suited ped on trafalgar square!

I was escaping work for lunch and saw you, thought I recognised you, spotted the cap, and had to do the DAS holler.

    Argh! Hello!

I also DID NOT DAS when a suited ped DASed me at Trafalgar Square yesterday.

Basically, I'm a lousy fixie-skidder and I am disappoint (with myself).

I may as well buy a superfluously geared hybrid, get some day-glo and start wearing 'all weather' clothes with detachable limbs.

  • Hoke in LMNH having a stunt-peg fitted to his Canyon

  • Dammit at LMNH fixing is bike due to his awesome power

  • brief chat at the lights, New North Road junction, Mapei cap and matching bar tape - stealth tron style is clearly the way forward..... must be an on here type

  • Where do I find this Mapei style bar tape?

  • I've no idea.

  • Not on here I suspect but last night in the rain I spotted someone who had not used the rinse cycle when washing his shorts.

The rain and friction between saddle and chamois meant he had two long spumes of thick white foam coming out of his bum and flowing along each leg. They were each about an inch in diameter and contrasted well with the black shorts.

I wasn't sure if it looked obscene/amusing or both but it made the ride home a bit more interesting.

    Rinse those shorts kids!

    TL:DR - man has a foamy bum

  • Where was this?*

    *paranoid now.

  • Chelsea Embankment. I did let him know and he laughed but I don't think he appreciated just how bad it was.

  • The early versions of the Levis commuter jeans had a "waterproof" coating that tended to dissolve in a similar fashion at the first heavy rain.

  • Cargo bike & rider getting a bollocking from City of London police just by Bank Station.

  • did plod not realise the bike is an inanimate object?

  • 2 lads photographing a Planet X in LFGSS style corner of Connaught and Albion about 11am.

  • Nice chap on a sandblasted, rusty looking lo-pro, with a cinelli on his back to which he said he was going to do the same. Good to meet you. Sorry I ran off– I have to maintain speed turning right there or the cars give me shit. Have fun with your build :)

  • Dasd a rider on a yellow lopro langdale and another on a black triptri GT with a pink stem on Essex Rd and St Pauls rd lights

  • coppithat in New X Gate area barely counts as a spot does it?

  • 6pt picking me on bromley hill only to drop me 5 minutes later. Always nice to see you anyway :)

  • Big talk no game :)
"Pfft. 25kph is slow. Come back when you're crusing 30kph+"

Nice to finally spot you on a commute though! I headed off for a bit of countryside fun, nice evening for it.

  • And I think it was you who picked me up, really.

  • Outside the Old Fountain in Baldwin Street.

At first glance I thought I knew who's bike this was ... then I spotted the front brake.

    So, who's is it?

  • Lady this morning getting rightly cross with Danish tourists in an rv stopping at entrance to tower bridge for a gawp at the Tower of London and leaving us all stood like pillocks in the big yellow box. She track stood her surly like a boss while being angry. Good example of calm in a storm.

  • Cinelli Vigorelli locked up outside the Catford Constitutional Club. Not the only fixie skidder in the village.

  • Roboto in Brixton on his way to track, and a young chap on a brakeless Fort outside the Ritzy, who wasn't ueono
