Some idiot on a blue road bike, running reds whilst pedestrians were trying to cross.
First light: Waited for pedestrians, caught up with him, "Hey Lance Armstrong, Why don't you wait for the pedestrians?"
Pedestrian cross-walk: Shouted "Fucking Dickhead" as he weaved through walkers. Caught up and passed.
Again zoomed through a crowd of people at Goswell/Clerk intersection. Someone even said "Bloody unbelievable".
Third long stretch between Goswell and Old street, caught him up and passed again, "You're not very fast are you mate?"
Then I left him behind, anyone here?
You oughta be ashamed of yourself, plus you are slow.I owe you +ve rep for that one :)

Could have stuck an appropriately-sized tree-branch in the tube.
:)
Never would have got it out again though.Wish it could've been that easy! The bottom half of the bolt was jammed into the top part of the clamp. We had pliers but couldn't remove it.
In a moment of genius, Kib removed a bolt from a newly built fence which perfectly fitted and enabled us to bolt the bottom half of the clamp to the seatpost.
That way we could tape the seat to it and it had decent support.
It was A-Team stuff! With about 16 miles left and lots of hills to come, it was nice seeing Slaytanic with no shoelaces and riding brakeless! Jeez...Cheers Dave! ;-)

Never would have got it out again though.A sturdy Hazel branch - they stay strong and you could have dried it to reduce it in size. making it easy to slip out..

Don't fret, I've ne'er been spotted either, despite riding fixed/living in Old St for 15 years, which seems to confound the laws of fixics.

You must have blended into the fabric of that neighbourhood, subsumed into the very essence of hipster cool that pervades the environs of the fixed-wheel freeway and scenester byways.
Like some proto-hipster demi-god, omnipresent and all-sentient.You should probably change your routine.
That would get you spotted and make it harder to assassinate you. -

No Assos dude...but damn don't I look hot in that cap? ;-)
Spotted on the way home from work on Friday:
Some Hoxton hipster doing his balancing thing at red lights on the corner of Grays Inn Road and Theobalds Road. Obviously to impress the rest of us. He was doing it for about 30 seconds. Then I spotted two couriers saying to each other "shall we do it?".
Then they go up the hipster and give him a light push. The hipster loses his fancy balance and his act is ruined. I guess you had to be there - but it was priceless!
