Black-clad rider on a very crabon very black ss bike (I think with disc brakes) sporting a lovely pink rapha backpack cover thing, offering me an escape route when another rider had boxed me in behind a bus on the New Kent Road. Thanks.

Ha, I did wonder whether it was you, but my memory of having met you outside the Ship in Dunwich made me expect someone less youthful in appearance - maybe that tells us something about the state we were in after sitting outside in the freezing cold at the end of that ride. The reason you can't ride in a straight line is your saddle is so high you are physically having to roll from side to side to reach the bottom of your pedal stroke.
