Who did I DAS with a forum cap going south over Southwark bridge on a sweet baby blue brompton/other folding bike?
That would be me!
Laner DASed me on the way home too, but my back brake is just too weak :-)

Commuting is a bit of a pain, isn't it? So many helmets out there again today... Undertaking, attempted undertaking, etc...
I'm having to radically change my route just to avoid these cunts... Pretty much did dual carriageway all the way from Limehouse to Southwark Bridge... Got over the bridge and instantly undertaken...
Gah!
Yes, it's rubbish. The main reason I've never left work on time. Can't you find a nice quiet route though instead of busy main roads?Somewhere you'll be safe from the helmets.

since always! Riding a foot away from the bumper of a bus at 30kmph at rush hour is asking for a splat.
Don't know about that, sometimes I ride behind a bus and my front wheel is touching the bumper, leaving a mark on a bus. There might be a problem if he does an emergency stop, which happens very rare.
I am with dimi on this. If I could I would.

I quite like main roads, only got buzzed by motor vehicles twice today...
Primary... Like a (very frightened) boss...

Oh well that's fine then. :)
I do too, but only because I have an insanely bad sense of direction so get lost when deviating from my normal routes.

Matt Seaton made me do it.
Please don't.A friend became very intimate with the back of a bus a few years ago whilst going round E&C. He's lucky to be able to tell the tale. Some impressive facial scars to this day.

When I was about 17 a group of friends and I were drafting a lorry, then my front wheel caught a pothole, I went down, hard. It was fun.

+1 drafting buses, just sit slightly to the side so you can go round. or alternatively ride directly behind making wanker signs at your friends on the bus and just gently roll into it when it stops

pfff I've never drafted a bus.....

Dude on a very nice yellow Casati rinsing me on all the longer straights from Farringdon to Southwark station.
Beautiful morning for cycling, shiiiit traffic though.

Spotted tons of coppers at nearly every red light. On my way home last night loads of cyclists being stopped for no lights.

Fuck me. Awful traffic this morning.
Plus a total weapon in their jaguar behind me on a back street (taken because the lights in Brixton were borked).
