  • Guy on gears giving me the knowing nod when we clocked each other's forum caps on Trafalgar Avenue this afternoon, then a courier type and I sharing a look back on Tower Bridge, then two blokes on motorbikes trying to be subtle at checking out each others ride at the lights, and failing.

  • Did you get any digits?

  • Brakless rider on a black Jamis offering me tyre levers when I was fixing a puncture this morning on Stratford High Street. Tyre levers = cheating! Thanks anyway though. :)

My flatmate Inchpincher. He mentioned it when he got home. No gears tho...SS

Haha! Alternatively, tyre levers = need to get to work

I can't get enough of that OKR Sports Direct. Hi

  • Oh, forgot about it.
On Monday, in a heavy rain, I was passed by someone wearing a beanie on a black Dolan with a rear spoke. Kings Rd / Edith Grove. Anyone on here? I was a pedestrian.

  • This thread sometimes resembles the 'you me' personal ads, in a good way

  • Saw a radical fluoro green / white rear to front fade fixed with matching fluoro green rear and white front spokkz in Stockwell on Sunday am. Must be on here...

  • Chrome bike with a very faded/sweaty forum cap being ridden by a guy on euston road by the library, lunch time today

  • A driver trying to turn around through a pedestrian refuge on the Tower Bridge northern approach. Good move, especially in heavy rush hour traffic.

  • And a rider who had accidentally deflated her tyre at the apparently (I didn't test it) non-functioning public bike pump outside Lock 7 when she went for a top-up. I stopped and helped her. Those pumps are definitely work in progress; unfortunately, the valves aren't yet robust enough to withstand being constantly wrecked by people who don't know how to use them. :|

  • I've used one last night in Hackney, for a first time - it was hard work, but I did get a bit more pressure in fat 24" tyres.

  • Not very pleasant to be suddenly violated from behind while waiting patiently at lights first thing in the morning, but otherwise good to see MiddleOfNowhereMatt.

  • rather nice silver Felt track bike coming left off shacklewell lane into kingsland road tescos. Rider with longsleeve jersey / spd trainers / bern helmet.

  • DAS'd someone walkenger just before Balfes Bikes by Oval - walking fixed bike along the pavement, figured that close to bike shop you'd be ok . Looked familiar from, possibly from HH or SE drinks but not sure of name

Dont think being violated frm behind is pleasant at any time....

  • Lovely Skydancer this morning at the top of commercial road! lovely to see a friendly face! =)

  • A forum cap southbound on Walworth Rd last night about 6.45, then Ada northbound not more than 30 seconds after!

  • did I spot clockwork_killa this morning walkenging on oxford st?

I did exactly this on the one in Kingston , didn't even have a puncture just let my wheel down to try it out , wasn't so fun when it didn't work

I saw that look of righteous fury flash across your face before you worked out what was going on. I fear for the nodder who next bumps you from behind.

hello. that would be me! I think my hat is defective as it was from the later batch...

  • Anyone the mystery man who commented on my bike this morning at about 8.45, heading into Parliament Square? Hello friend. Early start for me today, apologies for look of confusion..

That would be me. And it was a beauty! Sorry about the delay in reply but work's been a bit mental.

  • Indra this morning in Regents Park. I was too far behind to DAS and you turned off before I could catch up and say hi
