Geared bike, Rapha top, on the Cut tonight about 7ish, quick chat as need a new jacket.

Heh, that was me. First time out in the jacket, and it's nice, if a bit warm - I had to shed my jersey for the commute home because I was a bit boil-in-the-bag on the way in.

Chatted with a guy wrestling a big gear up Crooms hill in Greenwich this evening wearing fancy pants Rapha bibs and a jersey that bore the legend 'Paul Smith'. Don't think suggesting a skid would've been welcomed right at that moment...

Ed Scoble, dressed like an extra from a Black Magic advert cycling through Walton on Thames. I was driving and passed him once, and then again after I fillled-up at a local service station. He looked at me slightly strangely as I accorded him full respect on his approach to Hampton Court bridge.
