Clive in full Rollapaluza kit on Lee Bridge Rd, heading eastbound, around 14:00.
I was coming back from a ride in Essex in opposite direction. -

^^ Ho, I saw you sandbag the last few laps at the track earlier.
Tut, tut.
Who is the Casco guy, is he ON HERE?

When a player in any game chooses (on purpose) to not play their best.

Just like teabagging.

All the gear etc…
His chain came off because he'd only done up the non-drive side wheelnut. And despite the Dolan Forza (2 sizes too small for him) dropouts having very good built-in tensioners, he'd not done those up either.
Looks like the Mancheser effect has finally hit London's famous 'Herne Hill'

Brun breakfasting with park-runners in Finsbury Park
Good to chat mate... and are you 'considering' my suggestion? ;)Likewise, good to see you. As for the suggestion, thanks, but I seem to be managing ok already. Running training would probably be more productive.

Hats on uxbridge rd just now.
I was shouting but you had your headphones on.
I was standing in front of Queen Adelaide.Do you know, I was actually thinking "I wonder whether the QA is on this road..." while I rode (having only been there drunk, and so easily convinced to get involved in bike hiding antics), but didn't see it, and didn't see you. Sorry!!
Uxbridge Road is horrid, incidentally. Y u all walk in the road, zombie pedestrians?!

Well, I'll have a cap so I shall expect a cry of "Mach ein Schleudern!"
Ah well, the old problem that you can't say 'Do a skid!' in German.
"Schleudern", of course, isn't the right translation.
We've discussed this somewhere before, but there simply is no way of translating it.

How can the language that gave us Durchfalls and Brustwart be so deficient?

How can the language that gave us Durchfalls and Brustwart be so deficient?
As luck would have it, German gave us neither.
It's "Durchfall", and that's merely a direct translation of the Greek "dia-(r)-roia", used in English in its Latinised form.
The other word is "Brustwarze".

Shout out to the guy riding a tandem on his own along clerkenwell road this afternoon and trackstanding next to me at every light. Unlikely you're on here, but it didn't go unappreciated.
Forum capped girl on Bethnal Green road about 9 this morning? I was walk of shaming and too hungover to muster a DAS.
