I DAS'd 3 riders just cruising in a group by whitechapel going towards bethnal green but had to bounce cause was running late. Got no DAS back. If you did shout me and I didn't hear had on my Rage against the machine Music Shuffle.

Crossed paths with some kind of ride on Theobalds road at 10am-ish...looked like an 'on here' kind of group but was in a bit of a rush to get to a meeting at college so didn't have time to slow down and join in. There was a guy on a tall bike at the front who I've met before but can't remember the name of.

Lady with what I thought was a forum cap going towards shoreditch on kingsland road. Didn't have my glasses so it might have been any hat. I had the pink spokk and turned and smiled.

^ hello! Thought you looked very on-here!
Also spotted poots and mr. poots on their way out to Surrey for some Box Hill action. Lovely day for it. I considered going down there but plumped for the easy option of Epping instead.
I was also, I believe, DASd by a buswanker-in-waiting on Mare Street at about 10am. Sorry for noskid, I automatically assumed you were just some loony and it only occurred to me afterwards that it might have been a legit spot.

That was Petor, I think you've met him at LMNH before.

Likewise. How weird was that - I ride past the tea hut and there you are, riding towards it. Plus / minus one minute and we wouldn't have met.

Well thats destiny for you

Who was that I DAS'd on Essex road about 3pm? You were on a Dolan and had a Brooklyn cap on. Nice skid sir!

Yo! Boffwell! Had a rayt nice ride out and I am completely chuffed I made it up the right way of Box Hill (have always gone up easy way) and admittedly it's easier than it looks/you think, it's still quite an achievement for a reformed hill hater. AND I over took people AND I sprinted past mr poots at the top. I actually got out of my seat and sprinted up hills today. Not very long sprints but still...
Is your knee feeling better btw?

Some young lads in Derby riding fixed shouted "FIXIE" at me this afternoon, which may be the local equivalent of DAS but made no sense at all as I was on a road bike. Maybe I just look really 'on here' regardless.

ha maybe they're a bit simple in derby. i only have roboto to judge it on, so inconclusive.

Box Hill is good for the old sprinting thing, I agree. The slingshot hairpins and the gentleness of the gradient are very flattering for hill-haters as you can get a bit of unexpected speed up as the road flings you round each bend. I think you guys did it the hard way by going through Effingham first, so you've got all those climby bits before you get to Box Hill itself.
My knee is much better than it was yesterday, ta, but isn't very happy with me this evening. It's just going to have to HTFU though. Strava challenges wait for no man. Or cartilage.

I bet Roboto is like Steve Aoki when he's back in Derby. They revere him and await hisrreturn.

Fixeh culture never really caught on in my endz. We're all short arses so most yoots ride BMX. Posho's ride Mercians.

Oi. You not met Day-moe or Ramaye? They are much simpler than I.

That's part of the reason I can't return that often. Have you seen the video to Hard Days Night?
