Saw some fixie skidder types riding up Lower Dunton Rd (somewhere near Billericay I think) this afternoon. I'd paused for a wee stop at the Wildlife Centre so it was a stealth spot.
you were less than a mile from where I grew up!

Hello ! Must figure out some sort of symbolic skid*, for (shamefully) the B.S.A. is neither fixed nor single.
- unless of course there is some technique I am (woefully) unaware of...

Got DAS'd this morning as I set off for The London Classic by a chap I assume was on his way to registration... I gave you a wave rather than actually skidding. Sorry. Next time.

Busy afternoon on Swains Lane today.
Great to catch up with clockwork killa back from his travels around less civilised parts of the world - hopefully see you at norths sometime soon.
Also, some bloke in fully-fairinged (is that a word?) racing recumbent, riding up the bit before the cemetery gates. I was tempted to stop and get a photo at the top, assuming he made it that far, but was worried he might think I was taking the piss. Then again he's probably used to the attention, it was an awesome looking machine but did look a bit like a fish out of water.
Unusually there were also several C11 buses going up the hill today cos Chester Rd was closed. One of them almost ground to a halt on the steep bit, giving me the opportunity to sprint past it leaving looks of awe and envy on the frustrated passenger's faces. Probably.

Pretty sure I saw Ho riding past the Horniman at about 6pm. Was a runenger and attempted a hill sprint to catch him before he got to the top but failed (and nearly threw up everywhere in the process).
