Where the hell y'all? Almost no one cycle today, even the bike rack is empty by the time I and my girlfriend got to work

I cycled today, along with some other dickheads on Kingsland Road.

Had a nice chat with a chap on a folder- he asked me why my bike was making such a racket, in a polite way, and was entertained when I pointed out the metal studs in the tyres.

Neil, the stuff you see on the road today? That was gritter, not snow.

There were loads of people on bikes this morning.

Judging by the bike stands at Westfield, it's the drivers and users of public transport who are staying at home. Office is half empty but the cyclists are here.

Only person in my office who cycled today - there were definitely less people on the roads this morning. Think they're scared of cold water - only thing I rue is not bring any goggles this morning...

The bike racks at my work weren't completely empty but that's because I work with wimps who left their bikes here overnight.

If anything, I was TOO warm on the way to work today...

I had a great ride in - a few cyclists out but sod all cars. Looking forward to snow in the headlights on the ride home. Will have a couple of beers before leaving for artificial warmth.
