Behold the power of the recovery burrito!!!!!
Enough with the burrito, it's not fair on those of us who want one almost badly enough to ride up to that Mex Fresh place for one.

mex fresh? where is this, stompino?
-

I think it's called Mex Fresh. I was talking to Aroogah about Chipotle and he said that the best Mexican place in London was near him in West London somewhere.
All I get around here are the tourist mexican places. :-(

Anyone been to Casa Mexico, just off Hackney Road. Sells all Mexican produce, me and our lass (who is Mexican) buy all our salsa and tortilla flour there. Gonna go Saturday to buy a new tortilla press and a chamal to cook them.
Green and Red on Bethnal Green Road is great for food too.

what? where exactly is this Casa Mexico? i can't believe i've never seen it! do they sell fresh corn tortillas? OR do you think your lady would be keen on showing someone how to make their own? omg, getting hungry just thinking about it.

It's just off of Temple Street. Parallel to and inbetween Old Bethnal Green Road and Hackney Road. I live just round the corner and still haven't been in yet. I may have to now though!

I can get tortilla makers sent over from home if necessary. ;-)
Also - there's a guy at Borough market that does a brilliant selection of proper Mexican chilies and other assorted ingredients.

this morning, right outside my 1st floor window; a body floating face-down in the thames. pulled out by the police and laid on his back for all the passing tourist boats to get good shots at.
kudos to the old geezer fishing for eels not five metres from where the body washed up (i assume he called to police as they didn't shoo him away) who kept fishing through the entire thing. in fact cranes neck yep he's still down there. he's had a couple of good sized eels out of there too.
weird scenes.

Is it true bodies only float along the south side of the Thames? ;)

spotted on the weekend:
A Fire Bicycle
and one of hundreds of 1939 - 1945 era bad boys
Chug It was this at that War and Peace thing at the weekend by any chance? Was it any good?
-
• #5298
Yeah man it was a good time, saw some pretty cool stuff. Some the bikes there were crazy, fully restored from the 1930's and stuff like that. Mad expensive though.
Wasn't as many vehicle enthusiasts this time seemed to be a shitload more nazi reinactors and gun nuts. Saw a Scammell or three though so I was happy, no Unimogs though :(

Good to see you Sir. What time will you be at Offside until? Saying that from other threads you're probably already there and will not be able to answer this. Ah well, will drop by after work, if there are a load of stupid one gear bikes outside i'll drop in.
