Ah, so someone did shout my name. I heard something but couldn't see you and then decided that it hadn't happened. To add more fail, it didn't occur to me that you meant me with that post, probably because I never leave critical method to theory. :)

Hope you didn't fall off again during the ride east.
I did actually, I have alcohol consumption as an excuse for that one though.

Forum cap, red steel frame, heading South through Battersea Park as I was going North, around 9am.
Have to report the existence of fake sharkpits. Nearly DASsed somebody at Battersea Bridge, but spotted just in time that the sharktooth was on the outside shoulder of the green jersey, not on the pits.

Cupcakes, unlocking bikes outside Balham Bowls Club after the Vulpine event. Good to meet you again. (chopped VO Milan bars on the olmo, btw.)

Tommmmmmm grafting away at work. Nice to see you man. Thanks for the advice too. Was picking up bits to bombproof my new Tricross as purchased this morning from Retro di Corsa.

Talking of unlocking/Vulpine who was the lovely chap who unlocked and passed over mine and messenger face's bikes when we couldn't get to them thanks to the tool who was blocking all the bike racks with a fucking boris bike.
Mands - you seemed to know him...?
-

^ Totally forgot about this poots, yeah, I didn't like how they placed all the bike racks in that tight space and as you said some of the parking from some people on the day was appalling, hence why i decided to risk it and parked on opposite side from the club.

Just had a remarkably evenly matched roll from Aldgate to Lewisham with a guy on a yellow Genesis, which was a bit worrying given he was on practically polo gearing and I was on practically track. Must try harder.

88mph on a polo gear? Not bad.

What does maddernj, erstwhile spotter of KatieCoo ride? If it's a blue genesis with a red jacket we crossed paths on Friday eve...
what a charming phrase for a stalker

There's a ChrisL who rides a Cliff Shrub in from the frozen wastes of Wimbledon and who is amenable to chatting, and he is on here.

Might be on here, some beardy guy in a yellow jersey and wool hat on a black and white condor. Saw me skid my road bike about 2 metres and just stay vertical as a wrongly anticipated that a Jaguar driver would cut left in front of me after he overtook and stuck on the indicators when in fact he was very patient and was waiting for me to go past. Unfortunately I had slammed on the brakes and tried to go right of him, where he stayed. Whoops.
Whoever you were you were quick.

A cabby today politely informing me that "It's people like you who give cyclists a bad name, you cunt!"
I then asked him if he wished to continue our discussion elsewhere. He declined by asking me to "Jog on, mate!"
If you see this charming fellow who dresses like Del Boy, has a fine grasp of the English language and likes to drive a gnat's cock away from your rear wheel, do say hello. -

That'll be him. He did say he lurked here from time to time.

^^what did you do?
Me? I was riding towards stationary traffic in front of a red light, so slowed down. It was single lane traffic, so I occupied the lane. Del Boy was revving his cab and half wheeling me, so I turned around and shouted at him to back off.
Apparently people that give cyclists a 'good' name are the ones who ride in the gutter and are happy to become crumpled, bloody heaps by the road side.
Haha, my first DAS and spot no less! Was good to ride with you. Hope you didn't fall off again during the ride east.
