^not necessarily true.
Me? Were you on a bike? I can't imagine managing to ride past you! heh. Why no hello?!
I was in a car and in a hurry. There are better ways for you to get home than the hell that is Pomeroy/Lausanne!

Belated Oh Hai!
What does a Vesalius look like, for future reference?
We did the KatyB Dedham wild swimming ride a while back, I was the mixed race guy on an orange geared steed
although I commute on this (plus/minus a few bits)
I'll DAS you properly next time ;)

What would you recommend? I much prefer it to going through peckham, and it's quicker! Minimum old kent rd, then tower bridge. I'm rubbish at routes though, so let me know! Heh.

Hollydale Rd, cheeky zig zag at Queens Rd, Asylum Rd, OKR. Much nicer than the choke point hell on Pomeroy/Lausanne, just as quick.

Happily the "cheeky zig zag" now has the approval of the authorities in the form of road paint. And Asylum Road is definitely worth it for the amazing architecture. Shame about all the temporary traffic lights through Nunhead though.

It's still a cheeky zig zag on the way home :/
-
• #52308
aha, right you are! cheeky indeed

It bugs me that it's approved infrastructure in one direction, but not in the other, with no signed alternative given. I wait in the middle, wait for the ped crossing and then get on with my day, but it always feels a little wrong.

Indeed and, no matter how laterally I think, I cannot find a reason for not having a corresponding southbound version. The nearest I can get is that you wouldn't want a bunch of three or four cyclists stuck in the middle of the road there, but that's never been a problem northbound in my (limited) experience.
Ever onwards. Bloke on a charcoal grey pearson touche on Cheltenham Road this morning, you were going at a good clip as I pulled out of Surrey Road on a blue pearson touche. My the time I was alongside the park, you'd vanished off up into Peckham.

Hollydale Rd
Do you mean Lugard Road?
The junction is currently being looked at in TfL's Better Junctions Review as part of a Cycle Superhighway scheme. I don't know, though, whether they will follow our comments for better permeability into Lugard Road.

I do indeed. Nice to know it's being looked at.

Sorry for being picky but that mistake really bugs me because nearly all of my friends make it, that and 'can't be asked' I can ask you what I want.No need to apologise IndraRipper, I must of picked up the bad habit from your friends.
