It's November. Fixed gear, or winter hack with full mudguards; possibly a crosser. Anything else is inappropriate, and furthermore, wrong.

Whoever was sat on the benches near Rough Trade East this morning, with a green Bianchi and a grey Mash, thanks for giving me a wave and a smile - I'd just battled through Brick Lane trying to find my seat and seatpost, to no joy, but to have some chap try and take my bike off me; you guys cheered me up a bit.

Because metal is too mainstream.
Needs wood spoks.
(They actually make wood-effect Aerospokes) -

Most mornings 830, I see an asian guy (east asia) lycra-ed up, feeding the swans on the Serpentine. Probably not on here but it's nice to see someone, an adult, take pleasure in feeding the swans. Brightens my morning.
side: every man and his high vis was out this morn! wonder who won't leave their bike at work when the rains come.
Yes, that was he. And tricky dicky. And me and a few others.
Don't really remember seeing any fixie pricks (not that I take much notice, I even blanked an old mate who was stood looking right in front of me) so you were perhaps the guy with deep section carbon rims who'd driven to the park in his BMW? I'm right, yes?
