Some twot with green framed singled speed and white front Areospok RLJ'ing all the way down kings road this morning and narrowly missing a 12 yr old school kid running across a pedestrian crossing (his green light not the riders)

Walkenger this morning, and I saw something incredible on the way to the office.... An absolutely enormous streak of wet dog shit on the floor and next to it was another lump with a visible HANDPRINT in it. This was followed by a couple of random marks and streaks a few feet further down the road.
This faecal crime scene vividly depicted some poor woman slipping viciously on a pile of dog shit with one foot, and in a futile attempt to keep her balance landing on the floor with her hand in another lump of sloppy poo.
How do I know it was a woman?... 10 feet down the road was a discarded, shit-covered, ladies jacket.
How was your morning?

The artist formerly known as Tibbs and Mrs Hat walkengering the "Mandem Tandem" along Walworth this morning! Hai!

Possibly the funniest thing i've read in a while on here. I do love a good story about poo. You should become a detective...

Holborn, but you knew that already didn't you.

Can't believe you've broken my tandem already. 2000 miles through mountains and plains, hail rain and blistering sun without issue and it takes the fucking Walworth Rd to spoil its glorious streak. Did you take it to Edwardes? They've got a history with the thing...
-
• #51513
I think that given a normal bicycle has 2 wheels, a tandem should have 4 wheels, at least, especially if you're tackling the Walworth Road.
-
• #51514
Sorry dude, shout something more coherent next time, all i could hear was traffic, some babble from the mandem-tandem and the freewheel of the nodder cunt who'd been drafting me from camberwell green and decided a sprint of glory was the only way to commute.
OldSkool, I thought you were my boy

It’s not broken, just temporarily infirm... Walworth Road kills bikes :( We were way past Edwardes so just walked it to Tibbs' work.
When you get it back it will have a lovely new inner tube, a bell and I might even clean it.

Nah, walked it into work. Going to give it some personal love after work and it'll be stronger than before.
No worries Matt, was good to see you regardless, it's been a while. You coming to Actress tonight?
-
• #51517
cleaning it was part of the deal!
-
• #51518
It'll be so clean you won't even recognise it.
-
• #51519
I've seen it clean before. I'll recognise it just fine.

Doubt it mate, I need to sort my pub bike out for Muddy Hell this weekend, new forks arrived today so an evening of sawing off the old quill stem ensues... If i get it done in time i may well pop down but mid week is busy time, all the time :-(

Sounds as if that tandem had to wake up to ruff. :)

Dude on a black fixed getting stopped by police outside Liverpool street station for shadow riding an Evans bike. Is it illegal to shadow ride a bike? I've done it many times in view of police before but they've never said anything before.
-
• #51523
^ Anything that renders you not in full control of your vehicle can be regarded as an offence.
-
• #51524
What's shadow riding?
-

ghost riding
Guy in blue club/team kit on a steel track bike (think it said Tsunami or something on it, wee little Mavic sticker on the seatstay bridge) outspinning me (not hard, admittedly) from Angel to Dalston this evening. Hello to you.
