Cheers! Was on my way to Archway for a quick drink with friends before the Nocturne launch ride. Turned into long drinks and I missed the ride :S
Hai to you - Was jealous of your steed.

Saw two nice bikes at UCL today. One white single speed 531 Nigel Dean that's always there, I really want its owner to buy a D-lock.
Then this evening near the Science Library, a brakless red Geoffrey Butler with nice bars, really lovely bike.
I was still staring at it when some twat on a blue single speed bike came tearing round a blind corner, still on campus where cycling isn't allowed, narrowly missing me and a few other people at the same time. You're a fuckhead, you better not come 'on here' when I'm around.
I resent the stupid twats who cycle inconsiderately as much as I resent the stupid cycling ban.

spotted in clapham common a chap on a nice old steel road bike, who's saddle bag wobbled as he rode making him appear like a big bollocked waddling bulldog. Such as this.

(non-chain) Braker on Old Street just past the roundabout a little after 8 this morning. didn't shout as you were tussling with a couple cabs at the time.
shortly followed by a hipster type in LMNH who was completely off his face on something and had lost all concept of money and seemingly unaware that most coffee shops sell more than one type of coffee so he just kind of stumbled about in front of the counter like a hipster captain jack sparrow not saying much and staring at the LMNH staff until he finally decided he'd like a 'cheap coffee'. in the end they took pity on him and got him an americano for whatever pittance it was he grabbed from a pocket and thrust at them, I suspect they may have just wanted to get rid of him though. don't blame them though he was sketchy as fuck.

I got DAS'ed 3 times this morning, no idea who by, eyes bulging with hayfever and vision was slightly impared. Silver frame, Black front Spokk was me.
First DAS - decided that in front of a truck was a bad idea
Second DAS - less skid, more grit rash
Third DAS - not sure the (very cute) blonde on the Brompton quite understood what was going on, but you sir (light blue Puegeot frame, black helmet) shouted yeehaaah a fraction loud for the poor lass!!I'm guessing you're on here??

This morning about 8:45 on the North side of London Bridge just before the lights at Lower Thames St.
A bus pulled over with the hazards on, driver and police remonstrating with a cyclist who was wearing a London -> Edinburgh -> London jersey.Looked to be a calm but firm chat in all directions.
Ah yes, that'll be me. Bus driver had just nearly wiped me out by pulling out of bus lane across both the other two lanes as I was passing. Serendipitously, he came to a halt immediately opposite the two PCs on duty on the bridge. So our subsequent dialogue attracted their attention. :-)
One of the PCs was a bit of a plonker and kept coming out with comments like: "obviously there's been some kind of a misunderstanding between you and the bus driver...." Er, no. There's no misunderstanding; his driving was dangerous and I am only able to take part in this conversation because I have damned quick reactions. It was all pretty calm although the bus driver started shouting at me and pointing his finger at one point. Not a great start to the day.

Last night on the OKR, bearded green pompino rider. When you snuck through the red light a bit, and the ever so serious cyclist in front of me shouted "prick" at you, your friendly but quizzical smile over your shoulder must surely have melted her heart.

Scoble last night on a blue Genesis upsetting taxi drivers by riding a very defensive position and (out)pacing me from Clapham to Wimbledon. I was the one on the black Surly who you gave the thumbs up to as you turned off.

Thought you were on here, was about to shout* "YOU ON HERE?"* before I turned off but decided against it.
Assertive rather! taxi was being a bit of a numpty trying to overtake me when there's no room to do so safety.

To be honest it was the only affordable way to get bar end shifters with an otherwise Chorus/Record 10 spd setup. Works absolutely fine though.
