Mad hysteria on the road this morning, cyclists fighting with Taxi's, Peds and Scooter Drivers, everyone with their hoods up not looking over their shoulders before they pulled out, was actually quite glad when I got to work.

Nice pearlescent Cougar with brown cap on Old Kent Rd yesterday.

And some nodder undertaking me when I was two feet from the kerb! I called him up on it, he just started making excuses: couldn't overtake me because of a car (?) told him he should have stayed behind me then, but he couldn't do that because his brakes weren't good enough. WTF? Darvin award winner in the waiting there...

I think I've been infected by this hysteria. I had a right go at somebody on the way in this morning. I feel really bad about it because the last thing you need after nearly being knocked off by a car is another cyclist calling you out. Hopefully he will pay more attention in future though. I saw it coming from miles off and so should he.

I saw someone who looked a bit forum-y get a bit too close to comfort to a lorry this morning near Borough tube. Black clothes, green cap, not sure on other details as the whole thing made me really nervous. Not nice.

Also saw someone with very nice looking wooden mudguards near E&C. This made me less nervous.

Ridiculous wasn't it? So many cyclists drifting right and so many cars drifting left, I was amazed I didn't get turned into pate by the time I got in. Wtf is it about a bit of rain that turns everyone into mongs?

Some tall chap in baggy jumper and leather satchel on a dutch bike just drifting through reds like it ain't no thing and a petite girl in stripes properly hooning it along on a rattly red geared bike whilst wearing boots. Both E&C - Covent Garden. The three of us at the lights provided quite a wide demographic of cycling. Just needed a nodder, of which there were very few this morning.

Sounds like a very similar description to a guy I rolled by yesterday morning by the Pembury estate, I said a friendly good morning and was met with the same response.
Maybe his understanding of the english language is very limited, that or he's just a massive WAC

Did I see someone on this beast heading down Stoke Newington Rd last night about eight? With someone on a nice looking road bike in tow? I joined the road by Barden's and followed you towards Stokie on a purple and yellow Dave Quinn track.

If it was this it looked slick.

I ripped off the front derraileur etc so it's now a 6 speed. half the gears, half the appeal right?

plus I'm selling a raleigh headtube badge for £8.50 currently on ebay with 25 watchers and a few hours to go, so will remove this one and flog it too

i think a couple of these spread around will lessen the appeal as well
