Inner circle of Regents Park - some kind of forum ladies ride?
Oh hi! That would be me and Velo Sisters!
-
• #46553
Spoted the lady on the left going north on tower bridge about 9.20ish.
Brucy not me I'm afraid, I was in Bed, asleep

Looked a bit more 'pootle' than 'chain gang'.. but the park was super busy last night - fairweather cyclist-tastic
Oh, edit: just had a read of the rules on the FB page - must have been the warm up laps.
Trust me we got faster later on!

Orko42 were you at dalston junction in blue LCEF cap at around 10am?
Nope that can't have been me, I was on a Conference Call with my Vietnamese office around then. Still have the LCEF Pinky cap. Not sure who you saw then fella....

Almac and Bernie (pissed as a fart) outside the Coach and Horses. Decided to swing in for a pint of Guiness with them and ended up joining the Masons.
At 9am on a Tuesday?! Christ, they're starting early.

Now edited. Besides the Masons don't do a.m. induction ceremonies (anymore)

Haha - sorry no offence :) Hopefully my lady will join up and come ride with you after I pointed her in the direction of the FB page- she's looking for more opportunities to ride in a group but is a bit apprehensive about joining a blokey club.
I was going the other way for a couple of laps; Grupetto kit, black S-Works, super-Euro accessory kit (white helmet/glasses, gold shoes etc). Will say hi next time.

Busy morning of spotting for me.
Wvm at my front door at the crack of dawn to collect his timbuk2 bags
A roadie who was trackstanding pretty boss at the top of tooley street was going to compliment him on it until he unleashed a tirade of expletives at the people who deigned to still be crossing the road after the flashing green man had stopped for a single second. WAC
dammit shortly after in borough monmouth WAC (obvs.)
There were also a couple of lycra'd up chaps on the steps of monmouth with what looked like a couple of single speeds (both had rear brakes) and for that reason i dd t bother askin if they were forumengers though one looked familiar so i probably jus blanked someone i know (WAC)
Then i'd just settled into a chair at costa on borough high street opposite my physio to wait for my appt and i see a forum cap zip past southbound towards borough tube. Wasnt able to get a glance at rider or steed let alone vocalise a skid request
Those chaps are always there in the morning, the grey bike is a stripped Pompino I think.

I have sidis for the indecisive. Black shoes? White shoes? Red shoes? Why yes. All three please. On one shoe. Great.
Loving the token WC stripes on yours.

Sounds like I had a near miss. I cycled by there on my way home at about 9.15, shortly after bumping into Clefty, but decided try and beat the downpour home rather than hang around. Saw a few forum-types - but no drunken Masons-in-training.

• #46573
Those Olympic champ Sidis are awesome. Fact.

• #46574
Hmm. Wearing WC stripes seems a bit off to me, like wearing a rplz jersey if you're not a member of the club
/second comment aimed at nobody in particular
But for sheer euro-gaucheness, hard to beat. And euro-gaucheness is just fine. -

#discodiscoWell I think they look fab, and if they did a men's version I'd definitely think about possibly wearing them on particularly dark nights.
Finally managed to spot Katie-Coo in whitechapel this morning!
