the sound coming from your bike was making my arsehole twitch with fear - it sounded like your pedals were catching pavement fatally - you've got to sort that out!

I spotted KattieP last night on Gt Dover St. It confused me and I couldn't decide what to shout so came out with a weak Kattie instead of anything better, accompanied by a surprised wave. Hello.

Guy in shorts going West down Bethnal Green Rd on a raw Gangsta, me going the opposite direction on mine... was it just me, or as we gazed into each others eyes, did we have a moment?

Hello! I'd decided to leave my bike at work and walk home cause;
1) Super early start this morn meant a cab to work/I need wheels tonight
2) I'm thinking of doing a walk in July. Porto to Santiago de Compostela... probs need some practice. -

I saw my yoga instructor on her bike, as I cycled into town for a class with her.
She terrifies me whenever I see her riding - almost always in the gutter. We have chatted about this, she understands it may not be the safest but still defaults to there.
We both got to the class looking like drowned rats.

Is it regular yoga or 'bike yoga'? Is there even a difference? I need to start this yoga malarkey, my knees and surrounding muscles / core strength are a mess due to only exercise being cycling for years.

I just do normal yoga as my recovery/core conditioning/flexibility exercise.
So I attend a variety of classes in different disciplines - today was strict Iyengar - which stresses correct posture, and holding poses for a long time. Other times I do more dynamic vinassa flow practice or ashtanga.
Bogue on here does some highly rated yoga for cyclists classes. I have not been but I gather there is a particular focus on activities and postures that will benefit the areas most required for a regular cyclist.

My gym are always offering free passes for guests - but they will phone you a few times asking if you want to join.
PM me if you might want to come to a class I tend to go Monday and Tuesday evenings or Wednesday lunch time (Tuesday and Wednesday are the best classes at my gym).

sadly not, can you imagine the terrible banter - i am often in trouble for the sarchastic hippy baiting comments i make in classes
Not many people in the rain this morning but I did spot a girl in head to toe waterfproofs and riding something like a debadged bianchi or maybe the shiny Charge Plug racer with a deep V rear wheel and wellies in the re-strap straps. Wellies! Not sure if I was envious or amazed.
