Guy on a blue venom with ITM fork riding down essex road, we both had a close call with a bus and a traffic island (not my shining riding moment).
Guy on a black unbranded track bike clip on bottle cage with a cat like helmet and a kind of multi coloured cube design jersey, was that a lFGSS cap under the helmet (couldn't quite see)

Hi. I've never written on here before. To the polo girls out side the George Orwell this very early morning, I hope you all got home safe and sound. But it is quite an exhilarating ride!

fixed. Victoria st bagman!
This guys name is Peter Bagley (no joke, that's the name he gives us when we tru his wheels, and on his building society savings book). He is best to deal with in the winter because the smell isn't as penetrating. He has blingier wheels than any of us at the shop; Mavic 819's to Hope Pro 3 with Sapim CX Rays. He says he needs these wheels because of all the weight on his bike (Around 150kg).
Until recently he had an old steel Dawes under all of those bags, but he bent the seatstays with all the weight. I think ActionBikes on Embankment sold him that Rockhopper, because we would have advised AGAINST suspension. He's already pulled the V-bosses off twice.
Poor Peter.

Whoever met Chocolateboywonder on the tube last week, either he got your name wrong or you told him you were me (which would be less classy but much funnier).

I hope this has a scurrilous backstory with plenty of juicy scandal.

Did I see konijn spectating at HH today? It was hard to tell if it was her or not as a) she was wrapped up against the cold and b) I was racing so my focus was elsewhere.

Yep, was me. Weather was too much on the grim side for me to even contemplate racing. You did well, looked like only the truly determined lined up.

Thank you to the nice Gentleman on the Raleigh who helped me put my chain on and held my phone against my face.
Joe again in full Ninja Polo kit wondering what all the hooting was about. Kennington Lane junction.
