This morning I came in via Streatham High Road and Brixton Road, which is not my normal route. From the top of Streatham Hill down to Kennington I found myself matching speeds (and exchanging some friendly chat) with somebody wearing a dark woolly cap, riding a fixed grey Lemond frame with bullhorns. Didn't ask if you were on here but you looked as if you should be.

if it was in the pm that was probably me on the concept. the wheels on my back were not aeros pokes though so maybe there are more bianchis trucking rims around.

Oh, how could I have forgotten? Yesterday evening, up at Kings Place, I saw somebody on an otherwise unremarkable black, geared road bike who had rotated his (white-taped) drop handlebars through 180 degrees, so that the brake levers were facing him while the bar ends were pointing forward, like ram horns. This allowed him a very upright sitting position and looked really fucking stupid as a bonus.

That's a very strong mid-80s look.
