You weren't there this afternoon either, while I sat and read waiting for numbness to dissipate.

Epic trackstand fail by me, waiting at the lights to go left onto the A205 from Dulwich.
Chap on a grey and white road bike did his best not to laugh openly, which was nice of him.

I'd do it if I were you

Nah, it was only something disappointingly obvious and crude, along the lines of 'I know someone who wouldn't mind a dirty cougar. All the better if it's a lovely ride'. Not so funny really, but Iain'd smile because he probably knows who I mean.

Next time when I'm not drunk I'll say hi. You looked quite serious when you arrived so left it. But then I got a dirty pleasure posting while i was sat there saying I spotted you:-)Nah, it was only something disappointingly obvious and crude, along the lines of 'I know someone who wouldn't mind a dirty cougar. I do love you my friend! Tomorrows Friday I'm told by those interested in time and dates, you up for a on early LMNH? -

Decided to go up OKR today instead of the back roads.. didn't really see anyone likely to be on here but did spot a multitude of utter twunts on motorbikes & mopeds weaving through relatively fast moving traffic. They were coming far too close to other cyclists and myself.
Anyone on two wheels is a friend my arse.

A big arse doing a wobbly track stand on some road in Islington this morning. I noticed it was on the back end of a Cliveo.
Then we saw Darius and chatted about Muddy Hell and Fancy Dress as we three rolled toward the city.

Courier looking chap just before waterloo bridge, southside, going into the back of a van. Split his eyelid, blood dripping into the street. If you're on here, hope you heal up quick!

On a side note, had my first experience of the CS7 commute last night and this morning. I don't know how people do it, nodders racing/suiciding all over the place. Got knocked whilst trackstanding twice in one trip, shan't be making that mistake again.

CS7 - shocker aint it?
If I'm with the missus, we pootle along and mind our own business, if I'm on my own I try to get to the front and stay there.
We were in pootle mode this morning - got overtaken by a cyclocross looking bike with rollapaluza across his arse, and an - ahem - older looking chap with shades, a kind of ethinc beanie and a modern black track bike with little straight hipster bars... anyone?

CS7 is horrendous. My commute is the entire length of the bloody thing too. I've investigated alternatives but my commute is long enough as it is so I just have to suck it up. It'll be better in winter once the jackasses are back on the tube. I hope.

If it was a white Focus, likely to be hyperbole

Ho bloody ho. I came to the temporary lights just as they were changing and had to wait an inordinate length of time at them. As I stood like a statue on my pedals, a driver started to make comments about my skillz. Suddenly a northern voice piped in from behind and lo and behold , it was TwoTents himself. I managed to hold the trackstand despite his barracking and had a pleasant (if slow because the double canvas monster is tapering before his race at the weekend) ride down with him. It was good to meet Darius as we got to the bottom of New North Road.
See you both on Saturday. I gather that there will be plenty of guy ropes to admire.

I didn't spot anyone this morning. Quiet wasn't it?
neither of us were there.
