Dude on a chrome Bianchi Pista, slicked back hair, shades, huge D-lock shoved down the back of his jeans crossing Cannon Street down the hill towards Southwark Bridge... Ouch dude, get a mini-D, you'll do yourself a serious injury! ;)

An even better result would have been a big slap and no £50 for the 'I didn't know it was nicked but I thought someone might tell me it was' -meister.
I'd have phoned the Police and got him nicked for handling stolen goods.

hey, been lurking here for a while, but last night i saw some absolutely classic riding which has prompted me to post.
Guy with glasses and curly hair on a red (possibly...) brakeless fixed going south over london bridge. Seemed to be trying to squeeze between two buses, realised he couldn't make it too late and threw the bike 90 degrees sliding sideways into the back of one of the buses and straight into a trackstand. Absolutely amazing style. Props to you if you're on here!

yeah that would have been the textbook answer, he wouldn't have had a leg to stand on. he bought it without a due diligence check, ie. he had suspicions it was stolen but did nothing about it. He wouldn't have got any compensation and could have been prosecuted.
But, hindsight is a fantastic thing, glad you got your bike back mate, great news.

That was me. A poor judgment by me there. Feeling ill at the moment and was concentrating on feeling ill rather than the road, hence the last min evasive action. Turned out all right in the end though!;) At least it bought someone out of lurking Where you on a brown bike? (road bike?)
P.S I'm not usually quite as grumpy looking / scowling looking.

It was a crazy moment, I couldn't believe the guy was still riding it with it's original spray job. It's great to have it back as it was my first build, but I have 3 bikes now so I think I may have to sell it off.

I wondered if you'd make it through the gap or not... i had bets on you wouldn't and was ready to dial 999. Fair play though! Amazing stop!
I was on a black trek directly behind you (i misjudged a buses movements at the start of the bridge and think you over took me as i was flailing about trying to get back out into the outside lane...). Would have stopped but you seemed to be ok!

both on Camden Rd yesterday,
a kid running out between cars stright into a roadie, roadie flys over bars and kid lands about a meter infront on a packed double decker which slams on brakes and kid survives. Happend right infront of my eyes was crazy, that kid is so so lucky to be alive today!!
Then some school kid in his school uniform on what looked like a yellow nyc specialized with black tape on skidding down the road, youngest kid ive ever seen on a track bike!!

oodles of fixed and SS between Hackney Road / Old Street / Clerkenwell Road this morning, but the winner has to go to the blonde lovely on a green respray with gold deep V's, drops and seat post. Lovely lovely bum.
And to the guy with the same hairdresser as Wurzle Gummage on an ancient geared road machine, if you had wanted to beat me that badly, you needn't have been peddalling like a maniac - you had about 4 gears to go!

8am ish, MA3K flying across Essex Road, down New North Road, on bridgestone in flouro windbreaker. Had I been 2 seconds earlier, we would have collided.

A giant of a bike (think it was an eddy merckx), gun metal grey, fixed, halling balls up Aldwych at 7:40am
