You are easiest to spot when struggling to climb "The col de londres pont". Nodders passing you on both sides!
-
• #40578
^this not true. nodders only undertake, never overtake.

Waves
I get suckered into it all too easily, and then immediately curse my gearing. Will have to drop a tooth on the back. Or start commuting on the road bike. ;)

A couple of local lads in tracksuits on brand new Trek Madone bikes outside Tesco. WTF?! it's getting ridiculous. Everyone in ze hood has a new bike.

Just saw a woman get 'beeped' at twice by a bus at the junction north side of london bridge. She gave the driver a very nonchalant over the shoulder raised middle finger.
As she went past i noticed her frame was painted in zebra print and she had a piece of wood mounted on the bars cut out and painted like a zebras head. Art student?

^^ there is a picture of that bike (I am assuming its that bike) somewhere on this very forum that was posted in the last week or so, can't remember where and it wasn't in the fishy bikes thread.

• #40588

Club-roadie-looking type on plain green fillet-brazed steel fixed gear with Look carbon fork and pursuit bars on the Euston road: thanks for giving me the kick up the arse I needed this morning trying to keep up with you.
Nice bike too.
Hi!

By the was Pisti, that's the second time I've seen you on that road in 3 days.
Your rebuilt frame is certainly an eye catcher. -
• #40593
Hi!
Belated 'hi' back to you! What's the frame, out of interest?

^ Rekon I've seen that visp on Tufnell Park's Campdale Road, outside the Londis. Never got round to asking if it had an owner.
Also, I keep seen a very patriotic Pete Dunn outside Tufnell Park's Sainsburys. That must belong to someone on here.
Yeah, it has an owner - sorry for the late response!
the patriotic pete dunn belongs to the chef at the thai restaurant i believe located a couple of doors down from the sainsburys
here is me posing with said bike -

Do you head north up Kingsland every morning? I'll keep an eye out for ya.
Nah...on hols atm (not having a holiday riding up and down Kingsland Road, that would be rubbish!) usually Tottenham to Victoria.
I can quite often be found riding along Kingsland Road though...will holla if I spot you again!

Morning!
Not often someones up for a bit of a play in the morning.
I tried to race someone up l'incline de Clapham Park Road a few weeks back and he said nah. NAH! Boring!

object slaining, past lookmum.
object caining*, past my window the other day.
*caining as in going fast, not reefer caining.

Bunch of trustfundskidders on the Clerkenwell Road, one of whom did a wheelie and made a horse sound at the lights.

an afternoon spent in the company of maxl in lookmum as we both tried to do some writing in the hubbub of an exhibtion launch.
then a swift (for me anyway) roll home with sainsbury's ed, on his burly, newly upgraded mountain bike.
Lovely to see you big man, come out to herne hill on sunday..
that is all
you're close but not quite right, It's tooley street not borough high street.
but I was riding in from mordor this morning so I came up the CS7 through clapham and over blackfriars so you wouldn't have seen me anyway.
best bet would be to keep an eagle eye out as you go over london bridge at the oncoming traffic as I guess that's where our paths would be most likely to cross in the mornings.
