    Tibbs! Afternoon fella!

    I've said it before and I'll say it again, my commute to Victoria from the durty South is SO much nicer and quicker than when I'm coming from (tott) 'nam. Bah! Wonder if I can persuade my landlady to jack up the house and move it South...

    Skully lookalike whistled for my attention this morning at Grey's Inn Road junction, I thought it must be skully, but after waving back, I wasn't so sure.

    i never realised it was a genre till after i'd left my last band, in which (due to the bass player's autistic maths nerd tendancies), i spent my whole time counting:

    "1,2,3,4,5, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and STOP 2,3,4" etc.

    i quiet and retreated the safe and warm world of 4/4 and he went off to toil in the fields to "mathrock". although technically i suppose it should be "mathsrock".

    anyway! sorry. back to spotting.

  • ^^ i used to play in a band with a drummer who was a mechanical engineer - admit himself that he had absolutely no natural sense of rhythm, but came up with some rain-manesque counting system. tighter than a rusty seat post he was/is.

    thats because you don't pay any attention to the fncking road!

    there are some fixie skidders that live on the rat run that we take down by turnham green, velocio/lady stardust, the 3 guys who live at the other end of kew rd, there is the rapha wobbler who tends to go past the house at about 8am

    there is even a fixie skidder bike sometimes chained to the railings near kew bridge on kew side

    also whenever there is a bridges ride a massive influx of scum happens

    Much later in a day some good people in a yard of lmnh decided that Skully looked like Teenslain today. I must look like Joe then ! Very confusing.

    Also saw Reeen about midday on Theobalds road.
    Saw you the other day as you were flying by lmnh and waved, sorry was too late to spot you.
