  • First forum shirt spot in West London(?) - Gussio - very nice to meet you.
Lovely clean white bike - what brand was it?

This was the TFL Cycle Challenge I was talking about: http://www.lfgss.com/thread65473.html

Oh and I was on 16:48 which I think is about 79 inches.

  • busy day yesterday, out on the warm sunny streets of london.

Dan on the ride back from LMNH's out to wests, looking positively professional amongst the long line of commuters heading up to old street along the spice route... T.O.M.B down by tottenham court road, who came along for the ride to West's... and Ma3k down by oxford circus, sorry I couldn't offer my congratulations, busy avoiding the peds who cross without looking.

glorious morning today, hoping for more spots later this afternoon..

  • Well done for spotting the shark pits - very nice to meet you too sir! Was glad when you turned off at Sloane Sq and I could get my breath back ;)

Its a Pompino which is normally road juice coloured, but it got wiped down last night.

    Am down for the challenge...

  • Gentleman on a yellow frame with white rims, red hat and red bag behind the Cafe Nero at Goodge Street. You set off down Howland Street just as my bus was passing. I shouted DAS out of the window but all that happened was the lady who was sitting next to me moved.

  • Corny on Clerkenwell about 6.15/6.30 last night. was outside the bear pub on the cobbled square just past st johns st so not close enough to shout a greeting.

  • ^^ My missus hates it when I DAS people in the street, I hate it when they ignore me.

  • Just DASsed somebody who passed by the other way while I was stuck at the new temporary lights on St Quintin Avenue.

  • Jayloo, elegantly drifting past me (I was a builderger) on Lambert this morning, 'Morning lady, go set some boundries with the agenda-less...

  • Wednesday evening 6.30ish, girl with a black and white stripey top, leather brouges and a silver langster. Shared* most of the commute home with you to Lower Clapton. Curious to know if you're on here.

    No, that's more like 8.75".

  • ^bit spinny.

  • last night, the marvellous hillbilly on bishopsgate followed by the equally marvellous tika on newington butts (stealth spot)

  • Observations while riding a geared bike to work: no-one DASs me anymore, and those weird lycra-clad dudes now talk to me at traffic lights. :'(

  • ^ Is that you Hatbeard?

  • No but I feel his pain :(

  • 'nice derailleurs' they say. 'that's some nice changing action you have' they inform me.

Or at least, that's what I imagine they're saying. I usually have my ears blocked. Bleak Don't Chat.

  • Wicksie yesterday around 6pm London Bridge, you look so summery with the light blues and pinks, made me smile!

  • ^^^On gears at the moment too. Finding myself jamming on rear brake and skidding at every opportunity and bunny hopping for no reason just to keep entertained. Its a sad, sad life.

  • Wicksie yesterday around 6pm London Bridge, you look so 80s with the light blues and pinks

    .

  • No one ever talks to me at lights, probably the uninviting sneer on my face.

  • The world's least friendly bike forum's least friendly member.

  • Two and a bit spots this lunchtime:

    1. Borough High St - woman on a green Langster with purple wheels. It's a look. Maybe Suffragette colours?

    2. Union St - male courier thrashing a blue lo-pro with chrome forks Eastwards.

    3. Also Union Street - Big Fat Audi going across the newly paved pedestrian/cyclist space. If that lardy bastard can drive through, any bugger can.

  • Crispy, I saw you walking through Spitalfields with your ol' Tom after work hours yesterday. Hallo!

Alright boss man! Going to check out the Italian exotica in Evans Cycles.

  • Nobody ever talks to me at lights either but I'm not unfriendly looking at all. Maybe I smell so badly that they don't want to be near me. :(
