Guy in forum jersey & black cap at the north end of Walworth road just after 9am this morning. Purple frame (chrome forks?) tan brooks saddle and matching bar tape with black Carradice saddle bag.
Would have shouted DAS but was on bus, not next to open window and, anyway, would be waaaay too embarrassed to holler in front of all the other passengers. But... hello!

pootsmanuva on vauxhall bridge - god dammit i hate those lights at the end. nice to see you ma'am!
Pleasure to make your acquaintence too! And those lights are nothing compared to my usual from t'North commute where I have yet to find a way to cut out the Strand and Victoria Street to get to work. If anyone has any top tips (other than move South) let me have them.

Spotted jonny on Friday or Monday evening, heading towards Brixton, our paths crossed at that bit of the cs7... Jumped a red light in the hope that I'd catch up, but it was too late...
DAS'ed someone with a forum jersey just before Elephant and Castle. I did realise you were free-wheeling but you jersey demanded to be DAS'ed, but you smiled though :)
That was me, nice to put a face to the forum name! Sorry didn't skid, I am fixed, but my reactions aren't that fast!
Seen you around that bit of road before, to the point that I wondered if we'd met at polo or SE's... Which is still possible!
Said hi to someone in a forum jersey in Colliers Wood, having chased him down and taken a slight detour to do so.
He headed up towards tooting, whilst I went hill climbing up Wimbledon Hill, and down past the Tennis
ha! Also me, nice to be stalked! :)Sorry if my reaction was a bit underwellming, but I was listening to slayer at the time so took a while to register you'd said hi to me... By which point the moment had passed!
Today was the most spots I've had in about a year... (There were two others but they don't read this thread)
Also of note today singlespeed with a single brake... I so wanted to ask if you'd know what to do if the brake failed.

A smart Cliff Shrubb @ clapham south this morning, wooden mudguards, carradice saddle bag, nice but pricey shorts.

block your foot between back wheel and frame like a bmx. Although last time I did that I aimed wrong and got my foot in the spokes, luckily was wearing shoes the size of boats and wasn't going very fast.
nice to spot you this morning! :)

I'm more of a proponent of the face brake when I see such setups.

Makes a change in the sea of Plugs and Maurices down our way. That'll be ChrisL, possibly not of this parish but a resident of yet another parish. When I spotted him a few weeks back I didn't dare comment on his nice but pricey shorts; I just felt humble and inadequate in my Endura 3/4s.

I know who that is (I see him regularly on the commute) - ChrisL, but I'm not sure if he's on this forum. It's a beautiful bike, and he's a good bloke to chat to.
Edit: X-posted

I've checked, and he is indeed here. Has been known to describe himself as a lurker, but writes every bit as well as he chooses his bike components...

Can somebody help me please. I did one handed trackstand like a boss at every light for FULL 30 minute commute to work this morning and still no spotted. Tomorrow I will skid the whole thing and possibly attempt no handed. If that doesn't work, what must I do?
Overtook a group of people on hirebikes on Bishopsgate at about 2.30am, one guy DAS'd me! Took a few seconds to process what happened. Then I saw someone trackstanding at Monument (dark hair, glasses?) so I DAS'd him. Riding home at 2am on a Tuesday is usually tranquil.
