That was me after returning from Cambridge, was a wet wet night with only my flimsy jacket on and saddle and jeans was soaked to the skin so was really in a hurry to get home more than anything else!

Spotted a Polenger mounting his bike outside New Cross Gate station at about 11pm tonight. I DAS'd but received a scornful look in return.

Ha ha...good to see you! As I said at the time skidding was probably not the best idea in two inches of standing water.

I was just rolling back from fixed ride to Brighton so was equally soaked and freezing. I think I was so chirpy because I was becoming delirious with hypothermia!
