i called a bloke a "div" on my commute this morning.
The div pushed past me at the lights, then failed to get away when the lights changed...then when he finally woke up he turned left into Lambeth Road, cutting right across me forcing me once again to have to brake, and swerve. i shouted "Well don't overtake me then you DIV!" and was rewarded with a hearty chuckle from someone behind me... which made me laugh.
Ahhhhh. fun times.

You missed the part where the street ran with blood, and you bestrode the remains of his body, still-beating heart in your hand?

Do A Sprint?
Spybot and Dropout sticking it to the man this morning outside my office. Felt like a bitch ass walking in...then I got a coffee and a peanut butter bagel and all was well.
Ah, I thought that was you. I didn't manage to come over in time to say hello.

I was undertaken by a Fitzrovia based media buffoon on a Brompton this morning, checked shirt, deck shoes, who whistled as he passed.
Not a good look, you fucking kipper.

yyyyeah to be fair I say "shouted" but if i'm being honest it was probably more of a "strident mutter".

Wait til you try Nutella and banana sarnies.

"strident mutter" is a brilliant term, perfectly describes my usual response to wrong-doing. as in "He cut me up so I gave him what for in no uncertain terms and slightly under my breath".
On topic, was it Pootsmanuva I saw wearing a BC cap, pulling away from the lights at the Tolington Rd/Isledon Rd crossing? Was heading a different direction so couldn't verify or say hello.

A cool urban courier doing a sudden left turn right in the middle of the Clerkenwell Rd/Goswell Rd junction, nearly taking out a girl on a bike, so he could high-five his courier mate and make ultimately empty small-talk, probably agree to meet up soon because that's what people do but never see each other again.

I spotted a lot of wrong doing this morning. If the little wotsit who undertook me through a red within about 2mm of my bike while I was waiting at the Greys Inn Road / Rosebery Avenue junction this morning does that to me again I will be bothering to sprint to catch up with him next time and it will not be pretty.
Also 'nil point' to the taxi who saw me coming and asserting my position on the road, then decided to try turning across me anyway, resulting in my need to swerve around his bonnet (I told him where to stick the aforementioned bonnett) or the line of white van men near Trafalgar Square who decided my side of the road was theirs because something was in the way. I hate this more than anything - motor traffic arrogantly forcing its way through on your side of the road because it is bigger than you.
Grr.
This was a shame as it was a beautiful morning, the sun was in the sky, the birds were in the trees and I popped down to Trafalgar Square to pick up some free tomato plants. In fact today really feels like it is full of win. I didn't mean to rant ;)

Spotted pedestrians scatter like scared sheep as I rode to work this morning, rather than walk right in front of me like usual.
I fucking love riding my motorbike sometimes.

• #37247
Oh yeah, three guys walking though Shoreditch (natch) yesterday evening. Their look? Patrick Bateman/80's Tony Wilson. I shit you not.
-
• #37248
The fact that they were clearly 20yo first year art students was what made it funny/tragic.

Spotted Genfer at Lincolns Inn Fields at lunchtime yesterday. Nice to meet you.

Scholarly looking fellow nailing a superb trackstand on a Gazelle at a long traffic light in Holborn about 2 hours ago.
I wish I could trackstand. I think my belly is too large.
urr - this could have been me - gunmetal/black coloured track frame?
Not sure how scholarly I look though.
Oh sweet baby Jesus. My kingdom for a peanut butter bagel.
