what is the correect etiquette when you get DASd on SS? Brake skid?

Etiquette should be not to DAS someone on SS. They should be DAWed* instead

Some sort of critical mass type thing with scooters going through deptford this morning I felt like I was in Quadrophenia, really wanted to join in but I was on a road bike :(

DASd teenslain under Herne Hill railway bridge. Was completely blanked.

Thank you! However, I sometimes do a wheelie if I am dasd riding fixed for various reasons...is that insulting?

rhowe heading east along essex road at around 7:15, would have DAS'd you but I was hiding behind a sainsburys delivery van going in the opposite direction

I'd been lounging on the grass in the park enjoying the sun during my lunch break. Figured I might as well ride around the circle on the way back and lo there was cake. Very cheery he was too.

As for Essex Road, well that's a pretty regular part of my commute so hi! I usually have headphones in, so yelling at me doesn't often get much reaction.

I have a huge fear of riding drunk, elephant and castle roundabout pissed on a bike is horrendous!

word - there is something reassuring though that deep down there exists an auto pilot:

blind drunk setting off from old street.. only remember the rudes helping me out of the gutter at camberwell... no doubt I took an ILL line through elephant ^_^

I have, once or twice, done the E&C roundabout at speed while rather drunk. It was fun. Bit naughty, obviously, but I think there are more dangerous stretches of road in London.

e&c is a bit of a nasty junction to navigate ... especially drunk coming the "other" way, but so far it is more about human psychology than the layout of traffic for me.

...being drunk (confused stare), one would give a fart of course, but still, you know...

and if in doubt, there is always the "shortcut" as multigrooves likes to go about that place.

Yeah, he seemed friendly. He was getting a lot of hassle in the form of adoration, and though he was clearly not comfortable with it he was being friendly and obliging. At least no one was shouting 'born dead from your own arse' at him or anything like that - you know how people do with comedy figures.

Chris Morris rides a Roberts and JimBilly is his personal mechanic at Brixton Cycles... That's how fucking off-the-hook cool Chris Morris is (and Jim, natch)...

I navigate the E&C roundabout 5 out of 7 days a week, dont see anything dangerous about it tbh, at speed too. MY philosophy is to just take over a lane, cant get undertaken, overtaken, hold your ground.
