Going along Waterloo bridge towards town tonight around quarter to 6 noticed usual shenanigans with people unable to read the buses movement. I then noticed how after everyone had slowed down having been completely shafted by the bus one guy was continuing to go at a reasonable pace. I couldn't work it out, it seemed like he was drafting the bus but he couldn't be. I managed to catch up with him and was suprised to find that his old pretty beaten up town bike was sporting an engine on its panniers. I told him he was cheating to which he laughed and said shhh and then promptly overtook him and sped over the bridge. I wonder if his bike was safe.
