Today I quoted the HG Wells line to a cute middle aged lady riding a red trike with a massive basket with dog down that hill to Battersea bridge from Lavender Hill. I had awesome ride to SheBu... Phew!
"Fancy coming back to mine, I'll show you my time machine?"

Mashton, Tori and Rory McGrath. Sunday night. One of them has a supreme afro.

Was riding past a lad on Sunday who was on a scooter in Streatham chilling on the pavement. He goes to turn around and gives in a bit too much throttle... smashes into a garden wall. Streatham laughs.

Mr Mental this evening in an alleyway just off Throgmorton St. Hi!
A chap on what appeared to be a Mongoose Maurice at the Shaftesbury Avenue traffic lights at lunchtime, who was either checking out my famous blue Quinn or something far more interesting the other side of me. Hello.

Just saw a dude on a lovely Bianchi whip and LMNH cap on Bishopsgate, must be a Forumenger. Was going to compliment your track stands but the lights kept changing and I was in a rush to get home.

HED3 outside the Tescos on Green Lanes right up by the North Circular this evening, 6.15ish. Bit of a shock seeing a bike like that way out in the high N's...

I don't normally have a moan but came across a pacy man on a trek mountain bike tonight who claim he remebers me from herne hill. Tailed me like he was riding on the track, occasionally overlapping my rear wheel so I couldn't pull right to avoid a number of potholes. I wave him pass after a while and tell him he was tailing me like a jackass and he aggressively retorts giving me some bullshit about how he was 'car lengths' behind.
Firstly, we aren't ON THE TRACK so give me some fucking space. Secondly telling me 'IF' you hit me, 'then I can complain' isn't a justification for being right up my arse because well mate, that will be too late then wouldn't it. Thirdly, when i try to politely tell you what you were doing wrong, don't throw a hissy fit like a 5 year-old, be a man and listen like i had to listen to the trash coming out of your mouth. and lastly, I don't care who you are, you might be some bigwig on this forum for all i care, but you sir are a dickhead.

To be fair I really liked the early (mid nineties onward) OCLV's:
Early carbon looked very space age.

Came on here to also "spot" a HED3 this time outside the old eagle on royal college street right by my gaff.
It was maybe attached to a dark red frame- not sure as I only caught it as a double take.
Same bike?
Rhowe nope not me, I was south of the river at that time...
