I try oh so hard to be spotted :(

To the chap riding one bike and pushing the other down Tower Bridge road about 20 minutes ago, you sir are greedy! I flashed you a 'good luck navigating the lights' smile, but I think you thought I was taking the piss as you flashed me a 'this is harder than it looks without having to look up at you' snarl.

Hope you got where you were going.

Think I saw Konijn in HH at around 1125 this morning? I was in disguise as a dad with a pushchair so blended in perfectly to the surroundings.

stickered, brakeless white (i think) low-pro with a yellow deep-v rear, black brooks saddle, megachopped risers. saw a courier riding it from strand->whitehall->parliament square, then saw it locked up in a peculiar spot just off East St today... definitely no courier living in the building - possibly recently nicked?

saw the guy who is always shouting at cars again today...shouting at a car. Except this one was on the opposite side of the road and I don't think even realised he was there.

whos the guy with glasses and a red and white cervelo? i remember him from the ride to southend. spotted in richmond at whatever time it was, i was on the bus feeling shite.

Spotted a colleague on a Boris Bike this morning, it was such a surprise. He started doing part of his journey on a BB since they're doing major works at Victoria tube station. He's loving it and trying to convert other colleagues. Lovely!

Recently I've started to ride on Boris Bikes with my (non cycling) friends on nights out/day trips instead of getting the bus and tube. All of them think they're are great and enjoying only spending £1 on travelling. On top of that one is now buying a bike.

Back on track, saw a guy sporting a GOLD bike. Gold Frame, gold rims, gold everything and had what looked like a baseball helmet on track standing at the OSR this morning at 830ish. I was track standing behind you (i was the one that said nice track stand).

Oh, hai! that was me but shame on you, I am a girl! Perhaps I sounded manly from the manly grunt I gave in acknowledgement of you...I couldn't stretch my neck around behind to see you properly, the hood on my jacket obstructed my view!

It's been my everyday bike for over a year now, tis a 14 Bike Co custom job. Haven't seen you about in awhile though so that'll explain lack of spottage. True dat about sexlessness, although not in the literal sense, I'm still getting plenty :)

Helmet's the Bern Watts snowboarding helmet - it has a patented 'peak' thing on it, which I guess gives it that baseballesque look. Having a closer-fitting snowboarding-style and peaked helmet saved my face from worse scarrage the last time I took a spill (fucking peds stepping out), but sometimes it looks a bit odd since I have to squeeze the 'fro into it!

A couple of polengers riding up Broadway market on Saturday night whilst I was drinking some seriously strong cocktails outside Off Broadway. Shouted "DAS" and got a big grin back. I felt a little silly as then realised you were freewheeling!

I rode next to you on friday heading east around old street roundabout. thought i remembered seeing a gold bike in the spotted thread!
