were you running late rolling on a surly? jack's mate?
Donny?
Bingo
white grips covering black bars
ouch
+1
you probably saw me within minutes of me being knocked off my bike by a car turning right off of kennington road into bowling green street. i had memorised the number plate before i had even hit the ground. this lady is in big trouble for not stopping at the scene. as my three witnesses will testify.
cheers to the rider who followed her to get her number plate and witnessed her hurriedly dropping her kids off at the school down there before speeding off again. you had quite a sweat on from the chase - and were one of four witnesses who had all got the registration.
cuts and bruises and damaged jacket and saddle. no serious harm done thankfully. filling out the form at the cop shop was the most painful thing
take this idiot to the cleaners mate. seriously, the sooner we get school run drivers like this off the road the better.
glad you are ok

One of my colleagues just said "I saw all these weird blokes rummaging through massive bundles of stuff like a middle class jumble".
It was the rapha sale.

I'm glad you're ok jonny, anyway after the cops do their job... let me have the address of that cunt...

Like moog said, no excuse for driving off. Glad you weren't badly hurt, shame Mrs School-Run didn't have enough of a heart to find that out before pissing off.
-
• #33685
cheers for the well wishes. yes i am only really angry about the driving off.
and the fact that it happened when i was heading into work early - a cautionary tale.
to the tnrc'ers. yep, looking forward to those dark dark lanes.

Jonny - glad you're alright. It was that kind of driver that cost me a broken collarbone last summer, I hope she is found and suitably punished. Mistakes happen but knowingly leaving the scene is outrageous.
-
• #33687
cheers ewan hope that collarbone has healed up well dude.

Glad you're all right Jonny. I have no more (shit) box sets for you to borrow.

I just saw just_mouse (for anyone who remembers Jim, not that he's dead!)...at his work, as it turns out, where I was having a meeting. Took me ages to decide that it really was him - haven't seen him for, ooh, years? I shall forgive him for not recognising me.
Jonny glad you're ok dude. Shake off that bad luck.

Sorry to hear about your off, Jonny. I hope she is smote by your righteous anger.
I, for one, have heeded your advice and will not be going into work early for the foreseeable future.

I'm pretty sure I PM'd him a while back, asking whereTF he'd got to. He had a kid, init? Is he still working in Holborn? He must have me on ignore (or the whole forum) :/

I was bikeless and just standing around so i doubt you noticed me. I was pretty much just bike spotting and ended up seeing someone I recognised so thought I'd post it up. Will DAS you next time - you'd better be ready!
Good luck following things up. Glad you're not as battered as last time.
