Ah - I have been doing this on occassions at the junction with Grays inn road since I saw people getting fined.I am too impatient to wait, especially when it is busy with nodders and don't like people RLJing when there are peds crossing. I light heartedly told someone doing this that he looked a bit of a twat. He got quite angry and retorted with "You're not even wearing a helmet". I rolled my eyes.

I once congratulated someone doing that on "beating the system". If he was in that much of a hurry he should have started with riding faster.
